Asda do at 25p. Just type in
Betty Crocker Shake to Make Pancakes Traditional Style in Asda.com

Tesco are chaeper than Asda naturally - at a mere £1.49 ;)

Buy as many as you like at double the difference - but make sure you don't go over the £20 figure. Max at this price is 8

You have me wondering about them 30p coupons though. I'll have to check.

Mine show at £1.49 each or 2 for £2.00 on SEL would it be worthwhile doing it that way or staying to singles?

    DEAR SPREADSHEET EDITORS:

I've just had a look at your downloadable spreadsheet for the first time and noticed the following:

Cost total formula in cell D1 is "=Sum(H7:H654)" and should be "=Sum(H5:H654)"
Potential DTD total formula in cell G1 is "=Sum(I7:H654)" and should be "=Sum(I5:H654)"
It would be very useful if you could put a filter on column G please - we could then select all but '0' and print out a ready made shopping list!
Frozen panes at cell B5 would also be very useful to preserve the headings.

These observations are merely suggestions of opportunities for helpful improvements - I hope you don't think that I am being critical at all as I really couldn't thank you enough for your time, efforts and dedication (although I'm sure Mr T has a different view!)

    Keep up the good work!

    Thanks

    Terry

What most would do is just buy one, in the scenerio you present. They would also buy another item say
    PHILEAS FOGG SEA SALT & BLACKPEPPER 140G £1.85 £1.00 £1.70 £0.15
and more items until you have you £20. Don't want lots of little vouchers do you?
Then repeat the shop or something similar.

Is it £20 for the total shop or £20 DTD price?
  • I know this is said a lot... but I need to say a huge thank you to everyone on here on behalf of my best friend. She phoned me in tears earlier this evening, something has gone wrong with her pay from work and she was worried that she only had enough money for 1 of their normal weekly shops. They never had a lot of money anyway, always struggled, but like many here, got by with Value products etc. I am going over there tomorrow to help her DTD, explained it basically on the phone giving a few examples, and will print out the spreadsheet in the morning for her (they have no internet) and I will take her to Tesco's. So on behalf of my friend and her 2 children (age 2 and 4), thank you so much. Because of this she will be able to make the money stretch a lot further until the pay situation is sorted out. I think this can help people more than we realise sometimes, and I thought it was helping me as I get by by buying the value range stuff, but never seem to 'struggle', I like to make sure I have a tenner left over at the end of the week (sometimes I can't, but nevermind).

Had my first awkward shop with a voucher today. No real problem - SA knew about DTD, knew exactly what to do. It was just that, as soon as she noticed me taking the voucher out of my bag, she seemed to go into a ridiculous huff!

She'd been perfectly pleasant up till then but the conversation stopped dead as soon as she spotted the voucher! My shopping, which had been put through quite carefully, was suddenly being thrown in my direction in a rather forceful fashion! Quite unbelievable, the person behind me noticed (it was hard not to) and started laughing. This started me off and annoyed the SA even more!
    08 wins £3000+ :j09 wins £4408:j2010 (6 months off) £2004:j2011 £10,003 :j 2012 - £6013 :j2013 wins £8500 :j 2014 £5530 so far....

Just noticed all four of my receipts today were unsigned by the three SAs, so no clear policy on this. Have any of you scamps got refunds on unsigned receipts after DTD? There must be a reason they like them signed, though I won't risk a bodged refund request as I'm nicely under the radar at the mo.

Used my first vouchers today and woman said they sign the bottom so you cant reuse the voucher as you just print them yourself bit of a silly system from Mr T if the vouchers can be used numerous times. Had no hassle except both not knowing what to do and keeping ym reecipt after signng it!!

Totally addicted now went crazy today with stocking up visited 2 tescos put through 10 batches!! Looking forward to all my vouchers tomorrow.

If Tesco stop the other would they still need to honour all the vouchers already issued??

As advice by stebiz (thanks) it is suggested to buy one and then a lot of other tings to make it up to £20.

Im wondering tho what if asda prices change the next day?Is that just the way things go?
