I bought some shopong yesterday at Mr T and received the DTD voucher today. I went back to Tesco to spend it and because I used the voucher to pay for today's shop, the check out lady deliberately tore off the last few digits of the new receipt number so I couldn't do a price check on it.

I have checked the items manually on mysupermarket. Today's shop would have been cheaper at Asda but I cannot enter the receipt number into the Tesco site to claim my cashback.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there any way around it?

    Thanks

Was this at the new walsall store at all, if it was they tried to do that to me yesterday but failed

My brother was doing his shop today. For some reason he has started to like to do his shop at the same time as his wife, but they don't acknowledge each other at the till. Very strange ;):rotfl:

As he used his voucher and paid all of 4p on an £18 shop, his wife (next in the queue) heard the shop assistant say - 'He's always in that one. He buys stuff that he knows are dearer at Tesco then gets his vouchers'.

Fancy my bro. doing that. Never thought of doing such a thing. :rotfl:

  • Had my firsthassle with the voucher, had a voucher for £7 and thought I'll do this the easy way [or so I though] Had a botlle of Wolf Bass to go with the Lamb that I had cooking, the self scan assistant marched towards me and stated that I had to use my Club card in order to get the voucher to work I tried to explain to her that I'd used other vouchers without my clubcard [which my husband had in the car] but to no avail she told me strictly that I had to have my Clubcard!!!!!!! The joke was I'd previously used a £16 voucher through the tills and my hubby had used a £20 one all without a blooody clubcard in the same store!!!! Tesco get your staff trained properly this has been going on for weeks now......

Keep a paper one in your pocket... the temporary ones by the tills

Hang on a minute - sweet potatoes?????? Have I missed something :eek::eek:

Around £90 of vouchers here - may use one tomorrow - has anyone used a coupon in Berkhamsted - a bit worried as it's not my normal shop & is quite small for a Metro.
