Just had a thought to all those covering tracks
I know its already been mentioned about using different email address, not using clubcard and paying cash. Well, the only other way I can think that they might be able to trace you is via IP address. Whenever you send anything via the internet, it is kinda tagged with your IP number, which is kinda like your internet phone number.
Well, there are some sites out there that can hide that (http://www.hidemyass.com/)If you don’t speculate, you can’t accumulate. :beer:0 -

Having bought some items for the DTD discount for the first time yesterday, I received the DTD vouchers today and popped back round to use them.
The till assistant didn't mark the receipt, just gave it me when I asked, but signed the DTD voucher before they put it in the till drawer.0 -
I bought some shopong yesterday at Mr T and received the DTD voucher today. I went back to Tesco to spend it and because I used the voucher to pay for today's shop, the check out lady deliberately tore off the last few digits of the new receipt number so I couldn't do a price check on it.
I have checked the items manually on mysupermarket. Today's shop would have been cheaper at Asda but I cannot enter the receipt number into the Tesco site to claim my cashback.
Has anyone else had this problem? Is there any way around it?

I like Sundays in Tescos. Most staff in my nearest are under 20 and so relaxed about everything and take the coupons without any ado whatsoever.
In fact I was served today by a girl who'd gone to school with my middle daughter and we were talking about that. She seemed completely unfazed by my dtd voucher. A wondefully trout-free zone.
I smile when I read posts whose store's security guards get involved - mine is so engrossed in idle chat with various people or virtually slumped with boredom at the whole "security guard" position he holds people could walk out of there with trolley fulls of unpaid goods and it would take him 10 mins to wake up. By contrast, (and off topic entirely, sorry) our Poundland employs two, sometimes three door security men - which baffles me - even if someone ran out of there with an armful of stuff - its hardly of value - doubt it would cover their wages. Im not condoning theft by the way, just to make that clear - just pointing out my observations. The area I live in is hardly crime free but my experience of door security is that they are not bothered and certainly wouldn't get excited about coupon use.
Managed to get a toothbrush, separately, so if it doesn't work can take back, £10 is too much to lose for a toothbrush.
No finest lamb in my store though, but I am forever hopeful. managed to womble a couple of receipts, one of which has the pg tips £3.88 on it - so hopefully that will generate a small dtd too.
Thank you to all contributors to this very valued thread. Brings back so many happy memories of pre "Black Friday". Haven't set foot in a Tesco since then until now.
Ive used Hotmail, zoho and hushmail for email addresses during the dtd days. All no problems noted.Love, through the trees, past the sky, beyond the northern lights; and I won't let go. May your soul and spirt fly sweetheart x

Can some people who successfully received DtD on the beef joints confirm some details please?
There were two shelf edge lables in tesco today, both for £8.48KG, and they said top rump, top side, siverside in shortened versions on each label. The shelf edge labels had different numbers 02xxxx and then the figures for the price of the joint as the last 3 or 4 digits.
Unfortunately there were only 2 joints left on the shelf which were large silverside, labled at £8.48KG (14.xx and 16.xx)
These were shrink wrapped too and the tesco website picture shows them in the firm clear plastic trays.
The barcode numbers on these didnt tally with either Shelf edge lables ie the first 4 or 5 numbers, but were definately £8.48KG
I havent read anyone getting silverside DtD, can anyone confirm this?
And those that have received DtD, could you post barcode numbers if possible?
If the pricing is still the same, Im going in tomorrow when they have stocked up, didnt want to chance it at 3.50pm!
Thanks in advance
my barcode was 0236586009650
1 x T.BEEF TOP SIDE TOP RUMP SILVER SIDE JOINT MED (1.138 kg) £ 9.65 £ 4.55
i think it has to be over a certain weight to get it to work, i think i saw someone else post before it has to be 1.1kgDo you use this, and did it cost you anything
hidemyass is free but ive used it in the past and its quite laggy and slow and sometimes the pages dont even load properly. you could also try changing your IP address depending on what ISP your with, if youre with BT just turn the router off overnight/for a few mins and it should changeWho would say I couldn't make you mine? You were mine since th' beginning of time. Who would say we were far apart? You ever reside in the core of my heart?

It also says;
