Bad day today. Had a bloody big row with a Supervisor and her manager who insisted that all numbers weren't correct. All were except for the 24hr and an extra 0.

Absolutely fuming. Asked her to call head office. She said she couldn't because they weren't open.

Now I know why I don't shop there and am happy to take them to the cleaners. Rant Over :mad:

Phone call to Tesco HQ tomorrow.

well on the upside i paid with voucher :)

    It's not the sauv blanc

It's the chardonnay and the cabernet sauvignon that work (one person said the cab didn't but i wonder if they've bought the sauv blanc too)

Move to Scotland. Ours are truly 24 hours a day - off to the shops in a bit :A;):D:p

Can I ask though, in England are you allowed to buy alcohol at any time?

....can someone clarify something, I just had a terrible experience with my £6 voucher from a thorntons egg last week. Bought Topside joint, magnums and roast pots in goose fat, took to the cashier who refused to accept the voucher without the supervisor.

She came over told sa to cancel transaction and marched me to the customer service desk. She recalled the transaction and said that as it was done at the cs desk I would not be able to price check the shop for this transaction (i guess to counteract all the voucher recycles)

Does anyone know if I submit my receipt whether it will go through (as transaction was on cs desk?)

    MTIA

(She also gave some speil about not being able to accept the voucher without a cc which I didnt have with me! )

    Help...

    EDIT

My voucher is for only £6.92 and it should be £18.14 according to the above!!!

Hello, just to clear this up, it appears you have misunderstood how this works. People do DTD shops separately, because any items that are more expensive at ASDA than at Tesco, are DEDUCTED from the DTD total.

You have bought a number of things that were dearer at ASDA than they are at Tesco (the first price after the item is the Tesco price and the second price is the corresponding price at ASDA), so they have deducted that off the total, before doubling the difference of what's left that was cheaper at ASDA.

Never mind, just make it up on your next shop.......
  • **Possible Deal**

Tesco Kitchen spray with bleach 500ml.

I bought a bottle yesterday @ £1.05. However, MrT's website, and Mysupermarket are both now showing it as £1.20.

Asda equivalent, according to MSM is down to 85p- however I can't find it on Asda's own grocery site- but this could be regional, so have a look.

If it works it would be net 55p a bottle.

Just bought a couple of 400mg Cadbury Dairy Milk Fairtrade bars which went through at £3.34 each. Notice they are currently showing as £2 on the mysupermarket site for Tesco - same as Asda - how odd!

    best wishes
