Do you really use your vouchers to get another DTD shopping? Do they not look at you in a funny way?0

I shall take my leave. I've given you information which you may either digest or spit out. Your choice.

I liked ASDA, but to be perfectly honest, you have put me right off going to ASDA ever again!!0 -
You've confused me now - why do you think it was the wrong one ? I thought the lamb was just a fresh leg in a plastic vacuum pack, not Finest (didn't know they did a Finest joint)!
Mine was delicious tonight - cooked long and slow in my dear MIL's old Roaster (about 100 years old!) with wine and onion and a rosemary & redcurrant glaze.
Your mother-in-law is very old. Do you know her exact age?My daughters are my world0 -

Well..... just to say in terms of red wine the La Chasse Cotes du Rhone (around £2.20 ish after dtd) seems to be a good bottle as the one in front of me is now almost empty! It's also won a couple of awards so may be worth trying if still on offer tomorrow!Never let your sucesses go to your head and never let your failures go to your heart.:beer:0

Sounds yummy!
I'm not sure on the red wine thoughI once cooked lamb shanks in red wine and it was way too overpowering, maybe I used too much. I have some redcurrant glaze I got from M&S when it was on offer, so I plan on putting that on mine, sticking it in a casserole early tomorrow morning and I will cook it for around 5-6 hours on a low heat. It should fall off the bone.
