Someone said it is against the rules to return an item under DTD. It also mentioned about paying cash. What does that mean?

It's not against the rules, according to their own T&C you can return an item for it's 'net cost' after DTD

I've just spent a couple of hours trawling both T and A's sites to get some more nice deals on the spreadsheet. These are unconfirmed but I'll be getting a few on my next shop. Especially the olive oil :)

Sorry for the big letters. I didn't want it to be missed amongst the nice banter :) I'll post it in the price only thread too. I'm going cross-eyed I've spent so long on the sites. I don't think any of these have been mentioned.

    Here goes.

    Doritos dips x2 £3.50 £2 £3 2for 50p

    Ainsley Harrison cup soups x2 £2.16 £1.50 £1.32 2for 84p

    John West Tuna Fillets x2 (lime + pepper or thai chilli) £4.30 £3 £1.30 2for £1.70

    Singha Lager 620ml x3 £6.27 £5.00 £2.52 3for £3.75

    Eristoff Black Vodka £13.79 £10.00 £7.58 £6.21

    Shippams Beef, Chicken or Crab Spread (NOT salmon) 75g x2 £1.48 £1 £0.96 2for 52p

    Shippams Coronation Chicken Spread 75g 74p 67p 14p 53p

    Filippo Berio Mild and Light Olive Oil 1l £5.76 £3 £5.52 24p (for a litre :j:j:j )

    Pataks Original Lime Pickle 283g £1.48 £1.20 £0.56 92p

    Napolina Chopped OR Plum Tomatoes 4x400g pack £1.94 £1.50 88p £1.06

Pataks 500g Sauces (Butter Chicken, Balti, Korma, Jalfrezi, Dopiaza, Rogan Josh, Tikka Masala – NOT Passanda) £1.48 £1.00 £0.96 52p

Chicken Tonight 500g and 525g Sauces (Spanish chicken, creamy peppercorn, creamy mushroom, chicken chasseur, country French, honey and mustard {this is 525g}). £1.55 £1.00 £1.10 45p

I hope some of you find this useful :D

Another I noticed is that Pampers Easy-Up Nappies are £12.99 per box at Tesco but 2 for £18 at ASDA. With DTD this will work out at £5.01 a box when buying 2. Has anyone tried this?

Thanks for your hard work :money:

You haven't spotted an Optrex eyedrops DTD have you for all the sore eyes on this thread? :o

Walking through a well known city in ********** (identity of city not mentioned for tracking purposes).

I had just brought 4 rack of finest lambs (2 which are destined for friends) and various other items all DTD and was feeling rather smitten.

A young lady approached me and said she was homeless and wanted some money for a drink.

I have my own views on giving beggars money as i believe it doesnt help them. I therefore told her i had no money to give.

It was a hot bright and sunny day and so i reached inside my shopping bags and gave her a 4 pack of robinsons my 5 orange and pineapple.

These were £1.73 each in Tesco and 2 for £2 in tesco, obviously i had 2 packs which cost me 54p erased by the profit i made on the red salmon tesco £3.98 Asda £1.50 DTD 98p.

The look on the young ladys face...priceless...i left feeling that i had done my good deed of the day...

BTW i am not greedy..i regulary make up food hampers for friends and family...tea, coffee, cereal, toiletries, and household goods set families back quite a bit and in these hard times really does help..

Tescos are right..every little does help!!! so keep stocking your shelves up....were coming for more next week!!!:T:T:T:T

    Hi

Planning on going and getting some eggs later but confused at what the diary milk treasure eggs are?? Does anyone have a picture?? Sorry i know its a pain but only ones i can see dont say treasure eggs.

And do we still need to bu 3 to get the best dtd.

    Thanks

for a piccie type this into the tesco.com website.........

Cadbury Dairy Milk Treasure Egg 142G

they are not boxed just wrapped in foil...

remember to qualify for DTD you need to buy 2 x dairymilk and a mini egg or caramel as the mini egg and caramel are 2 for £3 and this will mess up your DTD as the eggs are all £1 in Asda!!

Just had a nasty experience in my local Tesco. Chose my items carefully, first checking on internet before I shopped. Used a DTD voucher to pay. Nice CS lady called her supervisor to check receipt against voucher. She duely looked me up and down and said she had to go and 'check' as there was a digit missing on one part. When she came back, after about 5 mins, she asked me why I hadn't used my clubcard and had I got it with me. I had my purse open waiting to pay the additional £1.70 and she spotted my clubcard credit card and said she couldn't accept the voucher without using my clubcard! She was extreemley rude and looked at me like a piece of dirt. I gave my credit card to the CS lady to scan whilst her supervisor pretended to be 'busy' at the next till. I have a feeling she will have taken my details from the till in order to stop me getting another voucher! Grrrrrrrr!
Well......I stand corrected. After a restless night thinking my DTD days were numbered......low and behold I've received my voucher for last night's shopping!

Hi all. I've been watching in amazement since thursday. There is so much info here, thanks for the effort and spreadsheet. I've gone to track today and bought doritos x 2, 3 muller corner and the finish tablets, plus some milk and a paper not to arouse too much suspicion.
Will let you know how mr t responds to my receipt!
Quick question: saw mention about not using clubcard, am I being slow? If this is legal, why should I not use my card and get points?
    Thanks again!

Don't worry about arousing suspicion Just go for it:rotfl:The Sa's won't take any notice of what you are buying, most of them have'nt a clue what's dtd and what's not!You can use your clubcard and get points up to your £100 limit, but if you are buying for friends and family, when you hit your limit, on another email address then you can't use your clubcard for that:).
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

I think that you are all absolutely brill and keep on with the good work!! I am only now starting with the shopping and DTD. The other day I di an online oder:
    2 x grolsch = £10.00
    tesco value cat litter = £ 1.39
    l'oreal kids 2in1 shampoo mango tango =£2.01
lynx shock shower gel = £2.37
    arm and hammer toothpaste =£2.48
    nescafe gold blend refill =£4.25
    sure women radiant =£1.97

    total £with delivery= £35.95

only got £6.16 price check voucher back.

Wondered if anyone could tell me what I am doing wrong please??!!
i think I must be really dumb. Should I only buy the items on the spreadsheet?

    Please help...........Thank you....any advice so greatly appreciated.:T

Yes, only buy the items listed on the spreadsheet as some of your other items must have been cheaper at T than A and consequently reducing your DTD as this is calculated on your entire basket.
