(But haven't found any in my part of the country yet!)

Me either - that's in the Warwick and Southam stores who both have excellent customer service in my experience.

I have only spent vouchers worth in the region of £120 since DTD begun (so clearly not taking the wotists), but I stil feel nervous every time.

Also, someone else mentioned about going for £10 vouchers when approaching the limit. Another advantage of this is that they can be done by the person on the self-service rather than having to fight CS!

The person I just dealt with at my local Tesco put the entire voucher (£18) through the self scan as a coupon even though it was above £10. He said he had never seen one before though.

Ok, bear with me, been in the pub for the first time in months.
    A trout.
A trout is a woman of a certain age (my age if Im honest) who sits at her till like she is sucking sour plums (Sorry, Im Scottish, trying very hard to Englify what I am saying) She has those big purshed lips that Hollywood actresses pay a fortune for, and she scoffes at your shopping, your voucher, your choice of food to feed your family, or any other misdemenor she chooses, just because she is at a till and you are the customer who is lower than the !!!!!! on her shoe at that precise time.
Sorry about the spelling, been on the vino and out for the first time in months : )
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.

so if we name and shame stores can we have a graph for troutability on the spreadsheets?! Night all, planned my shop for tomorrow (praps no sherry) xxx
Some of them are on here: http://www.zeemaps.com/tesco_dtd

    Thanks for your reply.

So am I better off just buying the concerned items or to just mix it in with my normal shopping? Or buy the concerned items and add a few items, so it doesn't look too obvious?
If adding 'normal' items make sure they're not noticably better value in Tesco than Asda or you'll do yourself out of voucher.

Sorry to be dim, but what's troutability?
It is now recognised by most of the scientific community that Humans evolved from higher primates. However, certain members of the customer services department actually evolved from the Salmonidae family, forming the species Oncorhynchus Tescus. They are the main threat to the existence of the canny DTDer.

I found the Warwick store was brilliant, but never went down to Southam - bit far on a bike!

Interesting. Whenever they've tried for me the machine has stopped them at 3 digits :(

Sorry if this has already been asked and answered somewhere else. I have read the first few posts, but I am not quite sure I completely understand yet. Do I at any point of this process need to deal with the CS at my local Tesco or not?

And is there a minimum spend for it to work or a minimum amount of items?

    Thanks in advance.

i sent my man in for his first ever dtd voucher using shop tonight and he went to cs before shopping to say he was new to all this and what did he have to do - stores seem to be different so if in doubt just ask before.
bless him he did so well - got almost everything on my list and not to many randoms :p

Just back from my 24hr store and noticed the Velvet Tissues are now 99p (Yellow SEL) not sure if its just my store or not.

Managed to do 4 shops tonight for 3 different people, 3 for vouchers £20, £20 and £17 and one cash for "normal" bits SA was very nice, said she'd never seen one of the vouchers so had better check, she came back and said it's ok the supervisor said just to put it through as she recognised you from last week  I did 3 last week same as tonight all for different people, £20, £17 and £4 think I had better look for a Tesco further afield incase they think they were all mine after reading some of the horror stories on here today, asked her to sign the receipts and she said "why" told her if it was unsigned there was the possibility of printing off another voucher and using it in a different store with an unsigned receipt, to which she replied "I don't blame 'em with what they charge in here, I shop in Asda, much cheaper" LOL
