I'm not sure what he says is quite right. I bought a 2kg leg today and if I get the DTD back, the leg will work out as about £9, not the '£2' quoted.

    Tesco £8.98/kg
    ASDA £5/kg

My leg was 2kg, so was £18ish
I expect to get £9 back, so it will have cost £9 if DTD comes though.

It's a fresh leg, with all the lamb amongst the other refridgerated meats.

    2kg = £17.96 tesco £10 asda, dtd = £15.92 net cost = £2.04

I was wondering this - if they checked back along the purchases surely they *could* find out it was your voucher and trace them back, but this seems very unlikely.

:( Probably my last DTD shop today - I'm up to £75ish reclaimed this month and don't see much point going in for a £5 voucher

the limit is £100 - according to tesco website

    SS Update please

half legs of lamb are not working on DTD I got caught with this one.

It's whole large legs of lamb confirmed earlier today
    [STRIKE]Tesco Simply Cook Large Lamb Leg 1.7Kg - 2.1Kg £8.24kg/£5.00kg [/STRIKE]

SS EDITORS I've made a mistake, that is frozen lamb. I cannot find a comparable match!

FRESH WHOLE LEGS OF LAMB, £8.98/kg (check the SEL as some in my store had blank spaces on the labels stuck to the lamb)

Is there a limit to the amount of times you can shop in 1 day? Hubby and I have both been once today but I was going to ask him to go back in on the way home.

    THANKS!

i make it that you'll get £15.92 back
    £2 x 8.98 =£17.96
    £2x £5-£10

    17.96
    -10.00
    = 7.96 dtd= £15.92

Why the hell would you use a credit card...just get out a tenner and with your voucher you are only going to spend a couple of quid each time maximum if you get the right stuff.

I know what you are saying and now that I have a voucher I now only need the couple of quid at a time. The thing is I need to spend on my credit card every month to avoid interest because I can't pay it all off.

I don't think it is though, the barcodes are not unique.
Vouchers yes, barcodes on vouchers no. And it is only the barcode and coupon value that is input into the till.
I've got very good, as I'm sure a lot of ppl have, at getting a voucher for £20, not scanning clubcard, and paying cash for the few pence owing.

So assuming that they have several vouchers for £20 per shift then they couldnt actually identify which voucher was for which transaction.... Well thats what I'm thinking unless anyone knows otherwise...

I had reasoned in that way also.
