very odd, how can they put something on you haven't bought. Was it the first thing on the receipt so carried over from last customer?

their explanation was that the the SA had to run after the previous customer and as she picked it up it must have scanned.

Had truly hideous experience yesterday at Tesco, so much so i ended up crying on the way home. Felt so ashamed, but i'm sure you all know how the staff at Tesco can get to you. Apologies to anyone on here who might work there, but they really are the rudest, obnoxious SA's i ever come across and i thought that even before this whole voucher thing.
Complained when i got home, which i have never done before.
Anyway went in again this morning, went to the self service checkout and the SA from yesterday came over and started making snidey comments to the SA on the self service. You know, the usual - i'm a scab, i come in every other day with my vouchers etc. The thing is this time i only went in for some treats for my daughter to sell at her schools "help Japan" cake sale!
Grrrr dont know whether to complain as it is her word against mine. Upset me, but has made me more determined than ever to get the best deals i can out of this.
Once my vouchers are up, i will never set foot in Tesco.

Having read some of the bad experiences people have had when I go through the till now I switch my phone onto record, just in case.

I dont agree, I would say a calendar month is one of the 12 sections of the calendar year. But I expect Tesco will have their very own definition anyway. :D

I used to work in an estate agents - rent had to be paid calendar monthly - so on the same 'date' of the month - every month - as opposed to 4 weekly.

So if you start dtding on the 5th - a calendar month will roll around to the 5th of the next month and so on

I stood staring at them yesterday, hadnt planned to get any coz I dont eat them, but oh loves a sausage or 6. I knew they were on dtd but couldnt remember if I had to buy 2 :(

Also saw the Anadin joint pain......another dtd item hiding behind one of those hanging strip things (as was the Mateus) SEL said £2.50 instead of the £2/£1 I was expecting so left them alone too and got the 28p generic pack instead ;)

You need 2 packs - 2 for £4 in ASDA. LOVELY SAUSAGES TOO!
