Sorry to be a pedant but it is definitley 10% + 2MPH before a prosecution can be obtained.

I ve just realized why it takes a life time to scan through this post to share information on DTD.

Whilst the banter is great does it really take 20 posts to discuss a speeding ticket.

I am not a tesco mole but if I were I would definatly try and run this thread off the road through benine chatty side track.

Martin has distanced himself from this thread (i dont blame him) as there is no jounalistic angle as things exist. So long as we dilute the critical information with chat there will not be enough hours in the day for anybody to read and absorb the information we require to make an infomed decission on how we may wish to write our shopping list for tomorrow to best serve our limited family budget.

There! ive said it now . (And wasted another post in doing so).

Why dont we start a "Betty Crockers Arms" for the friendly off topic banter? and keep the thread on topic to the benefit of all?
  • Can you end the speeding arguement please!! This is Tesco dtd thread.
Here, here. Think they might need a group hug :grouphug:

This would be much much more helpful, from experince (when my brother crashed my car after taking it without permission, and I wouldn't report him to the police for taking it. Long story, but this site is brilliant!!!)

Hi all, so hard too keep up but it looks like most are still getting good deals. Still no vouchers for me from ?mon (i think) its been sooo long without any dtd shopping!

Did write back to price check who sent an email saying I had gone over the £100 limit stating it wasnt all my shopping. Still heard nothing back although I got one out of 3 price check results back that wasnt even for my shopping! and It said that asda was cheaper! Do you think thay are trying to limit how much they are paying us people??

    Any one else still waiting?

Fair point, and I've contributed as much as anyone else to the speeding thing, but motoring offences have been a big part of my life over the past 18 months or so, so I just wanted to correct any misadvised opinions on here - misadvise on motor convictions have annoyed me over the last year or so just based on personal experiences and me reading up thoroughly on the legal requirements for convictions.

That said, you are exactly right. This isn't the thread to discuss those types of things, so lets get this back on track.

    Just found this:-

    Jacob's Club Mint Bars (8x24g) - get 2. £3.20 in Mr T. £2 in Mr A.

    Anyone had this confirmed?!?!?
