Submitted 2 receipts yesterday one after another (2 different e-mail accounts). 1 came back today as expected, the other is "being processed". The inconsistency is puzzling but I see a few other ppl are in the same boat. I shall remain optimistic and hope it comes through soon...

my understanding is that a warning letter is issues not a fine imedeiatly

they send you a letter that looks like a council penalty notice advising they are fining you £60 and you have 2 weeks to pay or it will increase to £150 or something equally rediculous....they also threaten court but after the 3rd letter chasing you for money they mysteriously give up and must then chase another victim who isnt as clued up!!!
  • So you are perfect are you? Do you drive? can you honestly say you have never ever gone over a speed limit? I don't think anyone can!
I have had a clean licence for over 20 years! I didn't deliberately speed, I am not stupid.

Oh well I must remember to slam my brakes on at that speed camera next time, same as everyone else that goes past it!

I didn't post on here to get 'told off' I was trying to be helpful saying there was lamb available in my local Tesco, maybe I won't bother next time!

I wouldnt take any notice - it could be worse you could be the hubby who has to live with his "sin" for ever !!!!!!! :D

have even printed of same voucher twice and used it by accident.

Have used 3 email addresses so far and will just make up some fake ones in the future as I have never had them set to my email address, I have just used the Tesco website to print them off so no need for a proper email address.

You don't get much for a £20.00 in Tescos nowadays... I got the lot in one bag tonight!!!

sorry, this may have been covered before, but how do you check if you have vouchers on the Tesco website?

I think you are right the inconsistency is puzzling. I have inputted 5 receipts all at once a few times, all on different email addresses for my mum, brother and a couple of work colleagues who genuinely have no internet access or printer and they have all come through fine. It was just a bit of a nightmare trying to remember who's receipt was whose though as I helped them all decide what to buy so all the lists were similar :)
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:
  • Just checking with all you MSE DTD's how many have sent your SO in to do a shopping and panicked incase they bought something not on the list..

yes today I trusted SWMBO with her own voucher and list...

I was a nervous wreck!!! She had no worries and passed the test with flying colours :j

I say Tesco found it EASY to make promises it still cannot keep.

I seem to remember someone asking what happens if you return items... I came across this...
    Returns

    1. Where an item on a receipt is returned, Tesco reserves the right to invalidate the whole receipt for the purposes of Price Check or where a Price Check voucher has already been obtained, invalidate the voucher.
    2. Where an item on a receipt is returned and a Price Check voucher has already been redeemed in relation to this receipt, any refund offered for the item may be offered net of the Price Check voucher's value.
    3. Where an item is purchased using a Price Check voucher and the item is subsequently returned, any refund will be offered by way of a Tesco money card only.
    4. Returns will not be accepted because a product is not matched on Price Check.
    5. The Returns Policy does not affect the customer's statutory rights.
Also I picked my daughter up one of the Oral B toothbrushes from Asda at £2. I just can't afford to loose the £8 if not found, and we needed toothbrushes. I wonder if it's the same for other people? It's just such a huge difference and for me with it being my second ever DTD shop today (no vouchers through yet - or not at least when I checked before going out, I think it's there now) and DD's toothbrush making a trip down the toilet in the middle of the night (dont ask) I couldn't wait.

I did notice that the Coco Pops that are on the SS, when you buy 2 at tesco's you also get a free bowl. It's also on the Crunchy Nut 750g and Krave.

:A don't worry you are covered by the change of mind statement on your receipt regardless of what they say - look at the back xx:p
