Finally found the rack of lamb in my store. Couldnt believe how teeny tiny it was!!!!! How they can get away with charging £25 per kilo is beyond me. Didnt buy any as i dont like it but was being nosy.

Now the Magnums have gone up in price should we lay bets as to what Tesco's 'offer' will soon be? BOGOF? Better than half price at £1?? :rotfl:

just tried fairy up liquid at hastings store and it doesnt work :( BUT i finally found the betty crocker at £1.49 :j i wanna t`shirt that says: I LOVE MARTIN AND BETTY CROCKER

ermmm.. whats Martin got to do with dtd? Shouldn't it be MSE members & B/C as credit should go to all of you finders & OPs not Martin ( as far as I am concerned he is a distroyer rather than a savour when it comes to dtd & coupons).;)

Now let me tell you about tracking IP. This is totally off the topic - many of us played Velvet money trees - some of us won between £1 to £100 & a few won £1000 but they won pay us we received letters today saying that we played too many times during the terms of promotion & they won't pay out a penny to us!

I've just done my first double the difference shop, and waiting with slight trepidation for the email to come through.

Can someone confirm this for me please:

Asda Strong White Bread Flour, 1.5kg, £0.50
Tesco Strong White Bread Flour, 1.5kg, £1.24

Giving a potential DTD of £1.48

I'll update this when I get the email through, however wondering if someone's tried this already. Thanks!

I hope that works. I make my own bread and I know Tesco's flour has also been 50p in the past. They take the p*ss and none of this would work if they actually matched Asda's prices. They still don't have an * after their "we’ll refund double the difference" statement, which is false advertising.

At least Asda seem to genuinely be following through on their guarantee.

I have just seen a tesco advert for their 3 meats for £10. at the end it said you can use our price checker but there was no mention of the dtd. along the bottom it said shop was compared with asda etc but no mention of dtd - very weird!

Did another shop in Abertillery today, checkout girl wasnt sure what to do with voucher so i told her and she said ' Oh i had one earlier and just scanned it and she didnt show me the receipt' she called a supervisor to check and was no problem putting mine through, i was worried because the times were different , on my receipt it was 19.34 but on the printed voucher it was 07.34 she didnt notice though.
It started a discussion off in the queue and it seems hardly anyone is aware of it i used the dishwasher tablets as an example but knew i was wasting my time when a bloke said ' but i havent got a dishwasher '..
    WHOOOOSHHHHHHHHH……..
    Blimey what was that ?
