sel label £2 in my local this am ? didnt get them scanned tho

Now if someone buys them from a store with a SEL of £2 and gets charged £4... what would you do? Claim DTD instore? Claim DTD online? I bet some would claim both! (in fact, what's to stop you claiming both... anything in the T&Cs? Not saying I would, too complicated for my poor frazzled brain and def wouldn't feel right)

Want this to end now! I am too addicted to just give it up. I cant sleep at night because of it, I go up to bed really tired, but then once in bed I start thinking about tesco and working out £20 baskets in my head etc. I think it has become some sort illness! Tesco DTD insomnia

But if they have been paid for with a DTD voucher then they have not cost £13 have they?.

Bottom line - last Ill say on any of this returning business is - if you havent had DTD on your stuff and you want to go to Asda to buy it because its £8 less thats your perogative and thats what I would be doing -
If Tesco arent playing fair and not sending vouchers through /not finding receipts/ n/a'ing items that are definitely comparable then in all good conscience if I havent received DTD Ill take them back.
Also, who says they'd been paid for by DTD voucher - actually two of them were paid for by cash as they were on behalf of other family members.

Finally caught up! 24 pages phew!

Does the popularity of this thread not warrant splitting it into 2?

One thread for chat, and one thread for tips?

I can only imagine the headache that the s/sheet editors are having.

(I posted a number of items that have missed the s/sheet update and are already burried deep under chat.....)

Yesterday we were returning from a DTD shop and I drove into the cul-de-sac to find a parking space. There weren't any spaces and when we turned round there was a tesco delivery van at the other end of the road blocking the exit. We thought they were onto us and had us followed home.

Luckily the van just moved out of the way and the driver didn't break my kneecaps or anything.

Hi guys, just back from a shop with OH.
I managed to do my shop ok using my voucher no problems,
OH on the other hand was accused of fraud!!
His cashier didnt know what to do with the voucher and called a team leader over who blatantly accused him of trying to use a fraudulant voucher because the scissors were in the wrong place....
He tried to inform the team leader that it was a genuine voucher sent by tesco because his shopping would have been cheaper at Asda but she was having none of it and refused to serve him, taking all his shopping with her.
This voucher is genuine, we both have our own email addys, none of us have gone over our 100per month...
where do i go from here please..

    update!!

i have just spoken to CS who took all details and assured me that the voucher is indeed legitimate, he is going to phone the store himself now and call me back straight he said... is he likely to call me back or is it just a fob off do you guys have much experience or faith in CS?
It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.
The world is full of people throwing stones at us. Its what you do with them that counts. Build a wall or build a bridge.
  • You know how when you use a DTD voucher to pay it says "COUPON" as form of payment? Then cash or whatever you used to top it up?
Well what does it come up with (instead of coupon) if you spend clubcard vouchers?

Hi, can someone advise me about express and metro stores please. Can I do a shop using dtd voucher and input new receipt?
I've tried looking through posts but can't find my answer.

Express stores aren't included so no point entering a receipt from an Express store. Not sure whether an express store would accept the voucher... I'm thinking not but I don't know for sure.
SOME Metros were included but not sure whether that changed in the last few days... someone will know though I'm sure :)

I did it with 6 bottles of wine when they pulled the £100 vouchers... I entered the receipt expecting a £20 voucher at most, but they honoured receipts from that day for full value.

Theres nothing to stop you doing this at all the DTD on overcharges is basically a bribe they offer to avoid complaints that could get them in hot water with trading standards, the price match offer is completely seperate.
