Went to my local tonight with OH and 2 LOs in tow.
I had a voucher and 1 for OH, told him what to do.
SA didnt really know what to do and called supervisor over along with the manager, the same 1 I had monday.
they eventually let us use the voucher but he remembered me and only let me use the 2 vouchers as they were on separate days.
Why do they make you feel like a criminal when you have done nothing wrong?
I wont be going there to spend by £58 voucher!
I agree I really cannot understand the staff who go out of their way to be difficult afterall Tesco introduced the scheme and made up the rules so what is wrong with using the scheme? You would think these staff members are paying for the shopping themselves, some of them need to lighten up a little and perhaps try a little themselves?:)0 -

Lol my boys are gonna be most put out when there lunchbox reverts back to normal!!
Well ive done a little DTD tour tonight, the lady in the first branch seemed genuinely pleased for me that i had amassed a £20 voucher whereas the supervisor in the second branch was a right moody old bat who looked at me with beady eyes and said....everyone of these i put in comes back as tesco cheaper.... i thought to myself..... well you need to do your homework better!!! :rotfl:0 -

It boils down to jelousy. You are allowed to do a voucher every single day (as long as you dont exceed £100 a month) so no reason for them to be snooty whatsoever. Bottom line is they know you are getting a fantastic deal they are not allowed to take advantage of. I would request to speak to the store manager next time and make a massive fuss. They have no choice but to accept if you are 100% within the t&c. I might even go as far to write to head office and ask for compensation for being made to feel like a crook for simply taking advantage of an offer that happens to be very good.
Bloody Tesco! I might switch my weekly shop to ASDA... not just yet though0 -

CELEBRATE,
Meant to thank you for your reply the other day but couldn't find the post again as it moved so quickly, so belated thanks now.
And do you and yours like fishcakes? OH & I made a version of these last night http://www.jamieoliver.com/recipes/fish-recipes/fish-cakes
We used the whole tin sans skin not the measly 100g the recipe suggests, we had no flour so dipped in beaten egg and semolina and they were yum, yum, yum, soft on the inside and very crisp on outside and soooo easy to make. I hate the smell of fried fish so baked mine in the oven for about 10 mins and they were even more tasty then OHs who fried and burnt his :rotfl: He would live on fried food if he could but he too admitted they were tastier from the oven. You can make 6-8 hamburger size fishcakes with the 300g potatoes & 213g tin. You can also add herbs that you've already got at home, e.g. dill, coriander, parsley or anything else you like with fish!
HTH
ahh thankyou !!:)will try that looks easy to do
my kids like salmon broken up into little flaky pieces in what they call "white pasta" ie cheese sauce pasta rather than tomato sauce but i always use the fresh stuff from the fridge section, never bought the tinned stuff, always presumed it would smell even more vile!!
will give it a go, i have enough domestos, flash, dove, lynx and herbal essences to last me a lifetime, will have to make sure i include them all in my will...... lol!GRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED
