    Hey Cherry,

I got a £7 rack of lamb which was about 280g and that was just the right amount for me for my dinner and I'm a 13st male. So work out from that.

As for cooking it I cooked mine using the following method and it was bootiful! Very tender.

    Preheat oven to 180 degrees.

Let the lamb sit out of the fridge for about 10 mins to get to about room temp and dab it with kitchen roll to take away any excess moisture.

Pour a little sunflower oil on it and rub it all over it so it's got a coating of oil all over it and then salt and cracked pepper on it all over.

Get the frying pan on (with no oil in it) and put on the highest heat possible until very hot.

Stick the lamb in the frying pan and sear each side and end, just about 15secs on each raw area and once you've done that lightly wrap it in kitchen foil and stick it in the over for about 40 mins.

Very important about 5 mins before it's due to come out put an empty plate in the oven so when you bring the lamb out of the oven you put it on your heated plate and let it rest for about 6-8 mins before munching in - this lets the juices get absorbed back into the meat and is very juicy and tender.

This made it medium and if your weight of lamb is a little lighter or heavier you may have to adjust the oven time slightly.

Before everyone starts picking holes in my cooking method I'm in no way a good cook by any stretch of the imagination but I know how to make a good steak and using the same kind of method it made the lamb lovely :)

Good method :D, very similar to mine but I would leave it out of the fridge for much longer to bring it to room temp... about an hour preferably (covered, of course). It's so much more tender when you do this. :)
I've wondered this as well.. I'd sooner be recognised by a friendly SA then have the same supervisor called each time and he/she recognise me.

When I went shopping earlier the nice young male SA that served me yesterday was working but as it was only yesterday I went to him I thought I'd go to someone else today - a nice young female SA who hasn't seen a voucher before but put it through fine without calling a supervisor :)

Yes, I am inclined to agree. I do have a favourite SA in my local T, but today I was at a different one (Metro) near work and I hadn't been to any of their SAs twice - yet. :D
I agree but the thing is it is difficult to prove and not sure its worth the effort, they think they are clever but obviously are not. I have learnt to save money on lots of different things (I'm paying the mortgage off much faster) I need to let it wash over me a bit.

Remember this when you're having a hard time from jobsworths! I have a little smile to myself every so often when a SA is giving me a hard time or one of my friends is taking the P out of me for shopping in charity shops.

Not only do I get FAB bargains (I live in a v. posh area so the charity shop pickings here are incredible) but I have plenty of money in the bank and hope to buy a house outright without a mortgage! Then who'll be laughing? :rotfl:

That is so funny lol :)
My 3 year old is the opposite. If I tell him we are going to tesco, he says not AGAIN lol

lol i bribe him with the small apple snack packs they sell :). he now associates tesco with them. although to make him put his pants on last week i, stupidly, sang the "free wine from mr t" song. it was the first thing that came to mind! he then decided to recite it while i was searching for the correct easter eggs in tesco!! might start leaving him at home.

Was going to post links but I can't make them work for some reason.

They don't come up if you search Jacobs Creek but are there if you look under Drinks & then Champagne & Sparkling

    HTH

Thank you - I can see them now! Do they work ok for the DTD then, can Tesco still find them?

Nope - I used about 4 different ones on a shop this morning - was it just the CA who told you this or a supervisor?

even went to the cs desk and complained about it and was told the same from them
