We're looking to get some A4 flyers printed - probably in the 500-1,000 copies region.
There seem to be umpteen companies on the web offering such a service, so I wondered if anyone knows of a company they could particularly recommend, particularly in terms of value for money (of course!) and good customer service?

Hi JJ,
The usual thing i always say, which starts the usual marmite style discussion lol (some love them, some hate them!), http://www.vistaprint.co.uk I dont think they do A4, but they do do large size "postcards" or "rack cards". I've had everything from brochures, signs, postcards, banners, to mugs personalised for all our staff, and in previous life have used their free buisness cards as tickets to charity events we organised, saved us a fortune in printing them!
I've been using them for so long I get most things free these days from their spam emails -just pay postage, but they often deliver faster than you choose, and value for money is good - you get what you pay for (or not in my case!).
If you register, choose your item and design and save it, they will be mailing you in no time, out of concern that you may have forgotten to order the item in your portfolio :P - and as a bonus everything is half price or free that day!!!
Good luck
JexI will pay jexygirl the compliment of saying that she invariably writes a lot of sense!0 -
Thanks for that, Jex - we have used Vistaprint in the past for business cards but I'm afraid we definitely need the flyers to be A4, and for some strange reason best known to themselves, Vistaprint doesn't offer that size!0

Hello, we recently used the Stress Free Print Company for 250 double sided A4 full coloured flyers, which cost just under £70 - we were quoted £150 locally for colour photocopying of our original document. The quality of the print and turnround time was excellent. Really pleased with the results and would recommend them. We supplied the artwork and, as it was the first time we'd done anything like this, we had a few queries which we were able to clarify over the phone. Here's the link: -

Many thanks for that - I've just checked out their website and I was very impressed with the flexibility and ease of their quoting system.
Will now consult with the boss!0 -
another +1 for stressfreeprint - awesome service levels and great prices0

I print loads of stuff for the theatre group I'm a member of and for work, and I use https://www.print24.com and https://www.inkylittlefingers.co.uk, both have incredibly cheap prices and great service, I've used both companies dozens of times and never had any problems.0

I've checked these out now as well and they look interesting.
Great to have some personally recommended choices - thanks, all!0 -
Don't forget to see what your local print firms can offer. Given that 1000 flyers will cost a few quid to post they may be able to match, although the web deals do seem to be very good.0
