Paypal purchases - be careful of your consumer rights

A last resort for "goods not supplied", but even then there's no legal liability and you'd be throwing yourself on the mercy of the card company. In this case (American Express) they washed their hands of it.
And it's also of no real use where damaged goods are delivered and it's a claim under the Sale of Goods Act 1979, Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982, or Sale and Supply of Goods Act 1994.0
