 Hellooo to all! Oh dearie me - I am so behind with the inn. Sending best wishes, congrats and hugs to all. Loved reading all your messages. :j xxxxxxx

I too have had a darned headache verging on migraine for few days now. :o Can't shake it off - I usually blame the weather if it becomes muggy/storm approaching etc. Flipping nuisance - like having toothache/disco lights going on in yon head!!!

Think being a (secret) worrier doesn't help :o.

However, onwards and upwards - bees are settled now sheils - but - thankfully we have an archway and garden gate before you can get into the area where they are!! Was fairly worried about our doggie visitors sniffing out the bird box nest full of bees!!! And yes, we can remember the time of choosing the options re subjects, few years ago now but still embedded in our minds!!!!! Hope all went well. xx

VW - so sorry to hear about the wee pigeon :o. Thankfully we dont have that problem with the gay pigeons :D but we have had a few casualties in the past - always get upset when the youngsters fall out of the nest  particularly if the local puddy cats are on the prowl!!!

Grass snakes are our prob - lovely as they are - they see the animal0028.gifin the pond as a very tasty morsel - caught one few years back devouring one on the lawn!!! All our fish had been disappearing and couldnt blame puddy cats cos we had netting over the pond!!We managed to catch the blighter and save the fish (tad battered!). Bit of a tussle but fish survived and wee (actually fairly large) snake was taken miles away in a pillow case to a better place in the countryside.

Sheils - yep - we have a 'strange' garden!!! Keeps me on my toes tho - '[STRIKE]Alice[/STRIKE] Alfie in Wonderland' sums it up ..... but sadly no Johnny Depp to give us a hand!!!!! :D:rotfl::rotfl:

animal0019.gif xxx Catch up later. xxxx

morning all , woops rather afternoon, where has the time gone???,been relentlessly applying for jobs for 2 days, just sent off one completed application from and have an interview lined up for friday for a completely wildcard job, will be good interview practice if nothing else, Officially finish work this friday so will loose access to internet so may be off grid for a while as using the phone for it can get a bit fiddly.

going to have a break from job search and apply for some lovely competitions. but need to get into work, I had one day off last week and ended up watching 3 hours of come dine with me, deal or no deal, miss marple and a poirot I was very surprised how easy it was to sink into tv all day so i think time at home not good for me long term!

Alfieblue - snakes, rampant bees and gay pigeons! My imagine runs wild with where you life alfiebule!
Sarah 182 -nice to hear the job is going well and you are enjoying it, hope to be back in that position soon

happy rest of the day to all and hope all the headaches/hay fevers disapear

    Hi everyone,

It wasn't raining this morning!!! Bit drizzly now though.

Didn't know grass snakes ate fish Alfie. Have never actually seen a snake in the wild although DS nearly picked up a small adder when we were having a picnic by a loch once. He just saw a tail sticking out and went to see what it was but luckily saw the markings just as he reached for it. We had Mason Bees under the roof tiles for a few years. We thought they were wasps at first and a guy came out to kill them but told us what they were and that they didn't sting or anything, infact they were getting rare so we left them but haven't seen them this year. I think the really cold winter might have killed them off.

Good luck on the job front spiderkebab.

    Have a great day everyone.

Hi spider - oh good luck with yur job hunting and fingers crossed. xxx :) My wee boy has an interview week after next for a wonderful job (his dream) - as always I will say before he goes - 'have you got a tissue' :rotfl::rotfl:For gods sake, he is 25 years of age, but i'm still his mum :o:rotfl:

Sheils - yep grass snakes will go into the pond and eat fish, frogs, newts, etc :o Can't blame them, guess they have to survive. However, we are now on the case! :D Pillow case and fishing net to hand!!!! :D

Re adders, we have many in our county - particularly when its warm, they will come out and sunbathe (especially due to warm weather lately) but they can give a nasty bite (needs hosp treatment) if trodden on or disturbed big time! (Can understand that) Been a few cases here. Peeps come down for hols and don't wear very good footwear - flipflops are no good, you need good walking boots etc and then ...... there are the ticks!!!!! Rampant all through the year ..... not that I want to put you all off etc!!!! Forwarned and all that! :D

Apart from that .... it,s very nice here :D xxxxxx
