Sorry I meant we had to eat the cake - not that I was making it :o I have to buy the cakes from a certain local baker - they are made with butter icing and cost about £2.50! Kids won't have any other ones.

I posted this in another section by mistake, so I'm pasting it here if that is ok?

Do you guys have a seperate facebook page just for comping??

Also, wanted to know, do you guys go for any comp and then sell or give away what you don't need/want, or do you just go for what you want?

I personally only go for what I actually want or need, but was just wondering what others did :)

    Happy comping :)
 Thank you to everyone!

Hi!! :) Im not too good on facebook or twitter, i try but im afraid im from the old school and i find it quite difficult sometimes. :) I enter comps, or am doing after a wee break, that i would love to win for me and mine. In the past, if I was lucky enough to win something - not the main prize but say a runner up prize - that we had already or couldn't use, then i sold it on and put the proceeds to my favourite charities. Now I am back up and running and entering comps, then I will do the same again. :)

Have had some lovely wins in the past, even the smallest ones were lovingly received - all tucked away for various birthdays and xmas stockings etc. :)

I would never enter for something me and mine didn't need because I have always thought that I would be denying someone else if I won, if you see what I mean.

Good luck with your comping - fingers crossed for you. :D xxxx

Hi. I only use FB for comping - find it a bit confusing sometimes but have had a few wins so will keep doing it!:)
I do try only to enter for things I want or my family would like but sometimes the main prizes and runner up prizes can be completely different and be things we don't really want. Always find good homes for them tho. Have never sold anything as anytime I give something away I win something else:D

I know this won't mean anything to any of you, but I'm bursting with excitement. My daughter's friend has just given birth to her first dearly wanted baby. She is 40 and was yearning to be a Mum but after splitting up with her Long Term partner 2 years ago (who refused to have children but then went on to get another girl pregnant immediately after, swine), she met a lovely bloke and married. While she was on Honeymoon her Mum died of breast cancer and following that, early last year she lost a baby. But today she has only gone and DONE IT!!!!! :D :T
