Izzy & I are doing our sponsored walk today, it's been roasting all week so Mr M helped me shave Izzy's big winter coat off yesterday so she wouldn't get too hot walking 10km in the sun. It took us 4 hours and cost us £30 midway for a new set of dog clippers cos the old ones couldn't cope with the fur :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: we filled 2 Asda carrier bags with fur, she looks super tiny and like a puppy again :rotfl::rotfl:: woke up this morning and the sun has gone away and it's RAINING!!!! :mad::mad:

What a shame Melvis - its been like that here since yesterday. At least Izzy won't need as much drying! Hope it goes well for you both.

It was torrential rain last year, absolutely awful! So at least it's not that bad this time (fingers crossed ) even when the rain was that bad, izzy still loved it and wagged her tail the whole way whilst all the other dogs looked like they wanted to go home :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: she just stopped every 5 metres to shake the water off :rotfl::rotfl: xx

I'm fine thanks Red. Had a really lucky month last month which was lovely. I won a night at a Loch Lomond hotel and we have been already!!! We saw the nice weather forecast and tried to book and got in - it was wonderful. Hope you get your break sorted ok and have a lovely time. We are off to Tenerife on Friday - can't wait.

please has anyone done the skeleton crossword in the mail on sunday? or the mystery word bonus, which is answer to 2 across. i should be doing this for jokey and don't want to let anyone down but never having done this before i am at a loss. i can't get scanner to work for help so if anyone's already done it can i cheat and ask answer pretty pleaseee will be back on tomorrow morning many, many thanks everyone :T:T

I haven't been comping recently, but due to a freebie of my own (just found out I'm pregnant after trying since 2005) thought I'd start up again today.
There seems to be a lot of comps that need you to jump through a few hoops now. Not difficult granted but having to like on fb, follow on Twitter, RT and comment, then comment on blogs / websites?
Any way, whinge over, glad to see you all. Hope the comping fairy continues to spread her magic dust.
