Morning all, hope everybody winning and well and if not winning then enjoying It!

I've had a Lovely week, got offered a free lunch at Browns, a very nice restaurant in Sheffield just opening, free starter and main only had to pay for drinks, so i had two lovely long cocktails and ended up drunk in debenhams buying bras with my manager, i expect the cctv footage was quite amusing, it was weird being drunk in the afternoon on a work day. Then 'won" a Mr tumbles" magazine which i will give to my nephew, there were only 10,000 given away so i was very lucky ;) and off today for a long weekend as work aren't confirming garden leave so we are doing it between us locally and today is my "day off".

I've done my me with the royal couple photo for the wedding speech but can't figure out how to upload it to give you all a laugh.

Also does this make me a confirmed comper, as i am away for two weeks have entered all the comps up to when i am
back because that will make me win??

Happy Easter break, royal wedding, comping, take your pick, but generally wishing happiness all round

    Spiderkebab

Sounds like your day was a lot better than mine yesterday!:D
Drunk in the afternoon on a week day - long time since I did that.(sigh!)

I know, it's been a while since I've stood on an escalator that's not moving thinking it was!

Sheils get that Guinness glass out and put it to good use. Hope your day is better today

I got all the comps up to date before I went on holiday too and it seemed to pay off! So good luck with that.:)

    Morning lovelies ;)

BS, all you can do is give your dog lots of cuddles, I'm sure he'll understand how much he is still loved :) Hope he's better soon xx

Sheils, I hope your cheque comes today so you can have that well earned drink! I hate it when the alarms go off in shops...I go red in the face which makes me look guilty! :o It's so embarrassing especially when you see someone you know!

Spiderkebab, sounds like you had a fun day yesterday! Enjoy your day off today ;)

That teapot looks inviting korky....except I only drink coffee! :p Hope you have a good winning day today :A

The suns breaking out here, was gonna go out but lazy blighters are still in bed! I keep hearing vans and looking out hoping it will be my tv win which I'm still waiting for! I keep emailing them & they keep saying 'I'll get onto the promoters again' or 'prizes are on their way' but still nothing! It's been since valentines day & they told me up to 28 days. :(

    :hello:
    sorry cant read back
hope youre all well and winning

    advice reqd again lol

    scenario:

neighbours son 18 sprays their garden fence & dosent ask to come in mine & put a sheet up to prevent it coming in the 1 inch slats to my end??

    result
I come home to find my green table chairs bird bath new white clothes peg basket all pegs & two clothes poles splattered in cedar red paint.
I go in peace nicely & make them aware, they say we will come round tonight
    no one comes
    next day still not here
i see at 2pm they are all in garden laughing having tea on swing etc.
i go again & ask wifie this time to come into mine & see damage.
she not happy but says i will fix.
an hour later i hear rumbling in garden, they have entered back gate without saying & start reaaranging furniture & are scrubbing away
i go out no-one spaeks so i do but am ignored almost
i come in to get pails of clear water to rinse but gs comes in from school & i get him to as carrying heavy hurts my injury
    next thing theyve gone
dont even say thats it or is it ok for you or bye
so obviousy huffed & not speaking now
i cried all night as im a sensitive soul
i never fall out with neighbours
however the paint has not camo off chairs & after they dried they didnt even come to see.

i didnt sleep well as they are so near & its summer & we will sit in garden & face them daily

ive put a note through saying sorry you were offended at my wanting this wrong made right
but that i dont think we should fall out over it
i said i would have come to help but was not given that chance as you let yourself in & out without a bye

    should i be so sensitive
    what would you have done

thanks if you read this x

I think you were in the right by what you have said redbull. After all...they did damage 'your' property and you were pleasant enough to ask them about it. If your neighbours couldn't have the decency to appologise for their mistake then they are probably not very good neighbours! Don't upset yourself over this but I would ask them again nicely when they are in the garden to survey the damage that is still there...and if they can try and put it right. :)
Hope you're well btw, red! Not seen you in a while xx

Hiya chickflick, enjoy the beach ;)

    Hi everyone,

Think you were right too Redbull but I'm not the right person to give advice on this - I am not at all diplomatic!

Love the happy Tea Pot Korky!

Hope you get your TV soon Wingo!! I wouldn't have been too bothered about the cheque but the guy said he was sending it on Monday 1st class Recorded Delivery and he still says he did. It didn't come today either. :( DHs name is on their Facebook page as winning so hopefully its the Royal Mails fault its not here. Have already bought my laptop but put it on credit card! My Easter Egg came tho - Rolo one (yum yum).
Kids off school again tomorrow so must get myself organised. Loving this sunshine.

It sounds like it's RM who haven't sent your cheque then sheils. We used to get money off vouchers from local bingo club but the date on the voucher had already passed by the time it was sent. It turned out RM weren't sending them when they should have! (I wonder how many of my parcels & letters they have )

Aw, sorry to hear you're stil in pain red. :( pm me anytime hun xx TC xx
