Not sure yet, looking for something like a king charles spaniel or a shiitzu. We want a family dog thats good with the kids. I love golden retrievers & labradors too but I think it will have to be a small dog. :) Went to kennels to look but it was too disturbing...I wanted to bring them all home! :o

That bloomin fabulous comp is driving me doo-lally! I cant win on it no matter how hard I try!

Hiya melvis  guess I'll have to upgrade my hoover for all the pet hairs! :D Mind you....me & the girls have long hair so it shouldnt make a difference!

My friend has a King Charles Cocker Spaniel. :)

I used to have a dog that was half German Shepherd & half Golden Labrador. :D

I moult like crazy!!!  :rotfl:

It's our short haired dog that's the issue, moults like it's going out of fashion, even in winter :eek:

I'd avoid king Charles spaniels, bad breeding in past years means they have heads too small for their brains and are prone to health problems :( shih tzus are fab tho we had one and he lasted til he was 17!! xx

Years ago the mixed breeds were called mongrels....now they have all sorts of names such as jackuahua, labradoodle.....I wonder what they'd call the bulldog cross shiitzu  :rotfl:

Hi Laks my little comping :A

Hope you're being lucky, you deserve it!

Wingo, I find the healthiest dogs are the mongrels, and the friendliest! Our Rude Boy is a Heinz 57 and he's awesome (dogs trust doggie!). Avoid waterfall kennels, they don't health check the dogs, you have to do it yourself when you get them. And they put dogs down a lot :( Dogs trust are much better, definitely more worthy of your donation and you're more likely to get a healthier dog :)

The doggie in my avatar is Izzy, our little cocker spaniel. Got her free from a breeder, unwanted runt of the litter! Keeping my fingers crossed, no health problems so far. She's very high maintenance but that breed tends to be ;) xx

My Comping Fairy seems to be on holiday at the moment.

    How are you doing?

    I love mongrels. :D

It's horrible when they have to put dogs down. :(
