I must admit I did wonder why you were doing it when that's what the 'Expired' button was put there for, so that people wouldn't bump comps saying it had ended. Having said that, I didn't think the reply was snotty, she was making a joke about it, unless there was more than one reply.

That's the problem with the written word, you can't sense the tone implied.

Can i be silly now and ask which one the expired button is?

Had a big migraine earlier again, think it was the sun! (not that i'm complaining mind!)

Sid, I hate voting comps too and tend to avoid them.

Becki, I also got the days mixed up today when I asked for last nights lottery numbers in the shop! I was puzzled when she gave me the euro no's! (These six weeks hols are dragging!)

Benjamin...I waited 3 months for my tv prize! They did give me more blu-rays tho to make up for it!

The holidays 4u company that has gone bust, well my brother was emant to fly out with them on monday so he's lost the holiday now. He has only just been paid from goldtrail going bust last yr but can't afford to fork out for another hol by monday. Feel so sorry for them and others that have been affected.

I'm still waiting on my first win of august....i'm sure it will be here tomorrow!

Raining here today - ugh!

That is a shame about your brothers holiday wingo. I always just book with one of the big companys (usually Thomas Cook) - it is just too risky these days. I know you get your money back but it would be heartbreaking to be standing at the airport and told you couldn't go. I really felt for the peeps on the TV yesterday.

Has everyone tried the instant win FB Fabulous Mag comp? Best time is 8am but 12 and 4 seem to be good too.

Just heard we're going to have to move house again, urgh. We'll be moving end of Sept/start Oct and I'm Not really sure what to do about comps. I'll probably pay for the Post Office redirection thingy for 3 months but I am assuming not all prizes turn up in the post. Not sure whether I should just stop comping for a bit or what really. The landlord is going to be moving back into this house and he's such a **** I hate the thought of him getting anything that was intended for us!
Any advice from people who've moved?

Edit - Also, like Becki I bumped two comps to say expired. I did click the button too. Sorry, I shan't do it again!

Morning all!

I am LOVING this rain! I get toooooo hot in the sun if it sticks around for too long so i had a word with mother nature and asked her for a couple of days of cooler weather - i just hopes she puts it back after
Getting money back from cancelled holidays is too hard isn't it. A guy at works holiday got cancelled because of the bad snow and he still hasn't got all the money back he is owed. I think they go out of their way to make it hard!

I'm going to be moving in November Rahven and am in the same boat. Specially because i am moving in with my parents for a couple of months before moving out again when we find a house to buy. I don't really want to start getting any spam at their house. I'm not sure i could stay away though and might have to risk it.

I haven't tried the FB Fabulous Mag comp i don't think yet - but i will do a bit later

I received moonpig flowers in the post this morning. I nearly cried opening them thinking my boyfriend was being really sweet, and then i turned out they weren't even from him! lol
They were from a friend that couldnt come to my birthday get together a couple of weeks ago and he sent them to say sorry. I have never been delivered flowers before
Hopefully now another man has delivered me flowers my OH might get a hint
