Hey - just wanted to pop my head round the door and say thanks to all for all these competitions and chatter - been remarkable. Me and the other half spend about half an hour a day entering comps and we've already got quite the haul! Nothing big yet but it'll come in time. So: thanks!

Good morning all!

Well, I *think* I had my first win last night! It was on the Rice Krispies facebook game, when I went to bed at 11pm I was 3rd in the daily table and I gather it is the top 5 who in a month's supply of squares but I haven't had a WEM yet, I guess there is still time but I am being impatient :rotfl:

Morning all, I have a sneaky day off today, all legit I hasten to add My Hubby has an early shift so I'm dog sitting. He's doing well after his op, only another 6 weeks of no 'walkies' to go My Daughter won a 3D TV last week and that was delivered yesterday and set up last night. Just need something 3D to watch now!

You ever get those times when you think that, although you get along with everyone and they all seem to like you, a suspicion that they might not like you all that much really/ or maybe i'm just getting paranoid.

having won a table for 8 at the Ladyboys of bangkok Manchester show I asked work collegues if they'd like to come along; now a few of us went about 5 years ago and it was a really good show but this year - no takers. Admittedly it was short notice and some of them live a little way out of manchester but.... So i asked in the pub, after all a group of us went a couple of years ago and to my chagrin they went last week! The only consolation about not being asked is that they paid, still I didn't realise I was on the same footing as politicians and newspaper editors in popularity.

ho hum - I guess this is what happens when you don't twitter or facebook.

I can't post the link as I'm new, but you can Google it or see it on the BBC and Independant website

Did anyone see the Cutting Edge program on lottery winners, jackpots and jinxes? Was really good viewing.

I'm rather annoyed at this!! The correct amount was 226!! which was my guess, was sat by my phone watching the live stream but no call then they phoned the nearest guess which was 227 and gave it to them, im furious !! Also the T&C's stated

9) The winners will have to be available by phone on Friday 15/7 4:30pm and expect our call.
If the winner will not be available we will call to the entrant with the second best calculation.

Yet they phoned the winners at 4.10pm so i checked back to their T&C's and it has magically changed to 4pm ??? Can they do this without notifying people?

ive emailed them so just waiting for reply. The trouble is they've already given the prize to someone now i was really excited wen they announced the number of beers now im upset that ive missed out

I don't know - but ive just had an email back from the man running the competition 'Yossi' and his trying to tell me that i entered 216 not 226 but i KNOW for a fact i entered 226 because i have it written down
