Hello everyone, i am a HUGE newbie and need to ask your help if i could be so bold?

I have been reading through the forums and i am looking to start entering competions etc, i do not have much spare time, but reading through all these posts it seems as though if done right comping could be a) good fun and b) provide some nice highlights in a day if a win come thorugh.

The problem i have is i have no idea on how to get going. As in whats sites to go to or where to look for new competions etc. It would be most appreciated if i could ask your help and advice.

Welcome steve_1982 and good luck comping. I hope you found velvet gloves comping guide very useful as it has lots of good info in there when starting out. Hope you get your first prize soon! Try the instant win ones when they come available (usually in regular competitions section-in dailies) That will give you an instant buzz if you win!

DD1 has received a 'sorry you were out' card from DHL today. Not sure what it is but it must be from one of her mags :j Delivering again tomorrow only I have to go to school for meeting so may miss it!

Had a crazy few comping hours when I got home tonight to make up for missing them last night! I have lost track of how many I have entered, I guess that happens to everyone??! :rotfl:
