Morning All,
I had a lovely treat last night while you were all running around in feather boas! I heard a funny sort of errr errr noise outside of my window and looked out and there was a little fledgling owl about 4 foot away from my window on a tree, it was so so cute and lovely, and made me feel all warm and fuzzy, but then all my animal welfare and conservation values went out of the window and I really wanted to go and catch it in a sandwich box and keep it! Obviously I didn't but was surprised at how easily I turned from a nature loving conservationist to an Owl catching and Keep it maniac!
Anyway just reminded me it can be the little thigs that bring joy so I wish you all a little thing that brings you joy today.0 -

How lovely - you are so right, just the smallest things can bring so much joy. Few years back we rescued a wee green finch chick - had def been abandoned - we kept checking - parents had been frightened off by something, dont know what. So we reared the wee fella, fed him, slowly introduced him to the outside world, managed to teach him to fend for himself. Called him birdie lol! Such a sweet pea. Now we have lots of green finches visiting the garden - i always hope that they are the offspring of 'birdie'. We love everything to do with nature - it just blows my mind how wonderful it is and how much we take it for granted.
Lily: you're in charge of karaoke then!! :rotfl::rotfl:
Mollie: hope you managed to clear up your coffee explosion!!!
Amilucky?: Lol - have you prised yourself out of that bunny costume yet??!!

Thanks Alfieblue, I'll be putting my camoflage (spelling?) gear on (that i haven't actually got!) and stalking it tonight, was about 9.30 ish last night and I read a webpage in case it was abandoned but it said the folks would be close by training it, so cute, I hope i can have a family of owls nearby, and living in Sheffield I do meant the birds not the football fans arf arf!
maybe if it sticks around i'll hear it move from a chalky "err err" to a big lovely "twit twoo"0 -

Afternoon!
Looks a bit more lively in here than last week!!!
It's only Tuesday and i am already wishing it was the weekend - so stressed at work!!!
This stress is not good for keeping up with comps either!
Why oh why are there always so many comps that finish on the 15th?!?!Redundancy isn't fun - comping is!
