Frances Hardinge spent her childhood in a huge old house that inspired her to write strange stories from an early age. She read English at Oxford University, then got a job at a software company. However, by this time a persistent friend had finally managed to bully Frances into sending a few chapters of her first children's novel, to a publisher. The book went on to publish to huge critical acclaim and win the Branford Boase First Novel Award.
'Twilight Robbery' by Frances Hardinge is the long-await follow up to her debut novel. It is a brilliantly realised fantasty world peopled with unforgettable characters and a thoroughly unpredictable plot with more twists than a spirl staircase. The recommended age range for 'Twilight Robbery' is 10+.
To be in with a chance to win one of ten copies of 'Twilight Robbery' by Frances Hardinge please answer the following question (click on the link below to find the answer on the Pan Macmillan website);
"Can you name another title by Frances Hardinge?"
