Parking Eye strikes again

Am new to this so please bear with me. Have read all the info on here pertaining to the rogues that are Parking Eye. Feel compelled to ignore their threats but my case is slightly different in that before I looked them up I appealed and armed them with information. I admitted to being the driver (I know - careless of me) and even told them I didn't shop at the Retail Park but ran into the local town centre for an hour.
I have just received the Final Notice from their so-called legal department.
Should I still ignore or have I stitched myself up.
Anmy advice would be most welcome.

All it means is that you might a few more letters. But keep on ignoring them. As you say "so-called legal department"

But keep posting back if more letters arrive and you need further reassurance
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0 -

Well perky has taken people to court as as he now has proof that OP was the driver thats all he needs.
Plus the fact that you said you didnt shop at said retail outlet.
The whole concept of ignore relies on a few factors, one being that they do not know the person that was driving the car.I all have learnt is from others on many sites.

And the MAJOR one being that these "penalties" are unfair in contract law. Should you be one of the VAST VAST minority that the PPC decides to take a punt on, you will still have an excellent defence. And there's no need to do anything except ignore unless you get an official court document. Highly unlikely. One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

well said.
and in the unlkely event that the OP does receive court documents the advice - as ever - is to chat with the nice, helpful people on the pepipoo forum.
determining driver ID is just one hurdle PE has to jump. so: no, the OP hasn't 'stitched' herself up, only made things slightly easier for PE.
though the chances of this going further are slim.0 -
