I think the charm bracelet is a really good idea :) A pretty little one in silver (unless she wears gold). I'm sure she will love it. And its lovely that you care so much.

    :)

  • Well if you get her perfume it's probably best to get one that she likes rather than just some random perfume as she may not like it. Have a look to see what she has already to give you an idea.

    What about a bag?

studentphil - see what type of perfume she wears, whether its a flowery smell or fruity etc. Then go and smell lots of perfumes and find one you think she'll like!

But perfume is a tricky one if you dont know some one very well.

be careful if you're going to peek in her bathroom cabinet ( never know what you will find!!)

anyhoo the original question was about romance and romantic gifts......... so that has to be something personal and private between the two of you, think of places /things you've done together (first date, first kiss etc...) and get things that remind you both of things like that...

I doubt she has much to frightening to see in her cupboard.

She is a tricky woman, she is girly but not that girly if that makes sense.

I would go for a bangle in that case, nice and plain as it sounds like she would not wear something too fussy, plus it is something she can treasure. You cannot treasure perfume really. Plus she might have perfume in her bathroom (funny that cos mine is on the dressing table in the bedroom)..that someone bought her and she does not like it or wear it. Hmm... you could go on forever... Trust me I am mum to two lovely daughters.. and I know what they would like and can honestly say both would prefer the bangle. Mistyang
And I have done reading & geography.. too ! ;)

I know how I can do it.

If she hears me in the cupboard then I can just say I am looking for some toilet roll and she will never be any the wiser that I am nosing at her perfumes.
