· Competition closes for entries online via the www.itv.com/thismorning website no less than 3 working days after the programme.

Competition draw date:
Within no more than 48 hours of the closing date and time for all entries.

Method & cost of entry:

· PRTS Phone - call 090 41 61 9999 and follow instructions; up to 9 entries per phone number. Each call costs no more than £1.54 from BT landlines.

· SMS text – send a SMS text to 63335 with A, B or C to indicate your answer to the question; up to 9 entries per phone number. Each text costs £1.50 plus one standard network rate message.

· Red Button – Sky and Virgin Media viewers press the red button on their remote control; up to 9 entries per phone number. Each red button entry costs no more than £1.54.

· Online – go to www.itv.com/thismorning and follow instructions; up to 9 entries per phone number.

Prize:
The prize is:

(a) Cash
A cheque for £50,000 (fifty thousand pounds) payable in the name of the winner only.

(b) Car
A BMW E88 118i M sport convertible N43 car in Space Grey, including first registration fee, 12 month’s road tax, £30 (thirty pounds) worth of fuel and delivery to the winner’s UK home address within 6 weeks of receipt of correct and valid documentation from the winner, including without limitation a valid insurance cover note to register the car and current driver’s licence. The winner is responsible for insuring the car. The provider of the car is: BMW Berry Chiswick, 10 - 11 Syon Gate, Brentford, Middlesex TW8 9DD.

(c) Holiday
A 10 consecutive nights holiday for the winner and five (5) companions to Barbados subject to exclusions, restrictions and additional terms. The prize includes return flights to Barbados from London Gatwick, return transfers from the winner’s UK home address to London Gatwick, return transfers from the airport in Barbados to the hotel, fully inclusive accommodation in a six-double bedroomed villa including breakfast, lunch and dinner cooked at the villa, all drinks (including soft drinks, beer, lager and wine), dinner at The Cliff restaurant on one night during the holiday to include champagne, a three-course meal and four bottles of wines during the meal, a one-day catamaran trip including food, drinks and snorkelling (including snorkelling equipment) and a dedicated driver available to the winner and companions for the duration of the holiday. The holiday must be booked and taken up before 30 April 2013 and is subject to availability. The winner may not take up the prize during blackout dates between 17 December 2011 and 7 January 2012 inclusive, 31 March 2012 and 14 April 2012 inclusive, 15 December 2012 and 5 January 2013 inclusive and 23 March 2013 and 6 April 2013 inclusive and on any other dates as may be advised by the prize provider.

The winner and their companions are required to hold a full valid passport to travel to Barbados. Please note that British passport holders do not need a visa to enter Barbados. Passports must be valid for travel with a minimum of six (6) months. Insurance is not included in the holiday prize. It is the responsibility of the winner to organise insurance for the travelling party. The holiday is subject to liability rules as specified by the provider of the holiday prize and the winner is required to keep the premises and the contents of the holiday accommodation in good condition. Does anyone know how they pick a winner from all the different methods of entry....surely most people enter for free online ? And what are the odds ?

They probably put all of the online, phone and text entries onto some computer database and the computer picks a winner. It's the same odds of winning whichever method of entry you use.

I'd guess that the number of entries is in the hundreds of thousands.
