There are two things on here that I disagree with.
Where I was brought up, people mostly spoke with the Queen's English and the following ARE correct to me and really annoy me when I hear it wrong
H is "Haitch" and not "Aitch" Aitch just sounds completely wrong!
Also, Schedule is "Skedule" and not "Shedule". Shedule also sounds completely wrong.
Some might cruelly suggest that you were brought up wrongly...0 -

Someone has already mentioned the bizarre pronunciation of 'ask' as 'arks'. (It's very prevalant amongst the cast of EastEnders!)
And I particularly dislike the new habit of going to 'the bathroom' rather than 'the lavatory'. In fact, there was a recent report in the Daily Mail which referred to 'the bathroom' on a passenger jet!0 -
My OH asked the other day if everyone had finished in the toilet, when he meant had everyone finished in the bathroom (as far as I am aware, none of us had been IN the toilet any way)Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0

'Very/extremely/almost' unique!
Unique means only existing in one place or situation or not like anything or anyone ....so how can something be 'very/extremely/almost' unique...when I hear people say this I scream out loud!"
According to the Oxford dictionary Unique means
being the only one of its kind; unlike anything else:the situation was unique in British politics original and unique designs
(unique to) belonging or connected to (one particular person, place, or thing):a style of architecture that is unique to Portugal
particularly remarkable, special, or unusual:a unique opportunity to see the spectacular Bolshoi Ballet
Don't see anything wrong with almost unique, as something extremely rare would be almost unique.0 -
Until recently I had an idiot boss who said "Pacific" every time he meant "specific". I thought I was hearing things until he actually wrote Pacific on a document he wanted me to type. Ha ha ha, still makes me laugh that one.
Sweetness, but...
If you were typing things for him who was the idiot?0 -
"PIN number" has already been mentioned, but I would like to add one of my pet hates "Can you just pop your PIN number in for me?" I feel like screaming "Do you know what PIN stands for?"
Don't get me started on apostrophes!0 -
My daughter and many other Facebook users write been when they mean being. Another one is 'looking forwards to'. Surely it should be 'looking forward to'?0

Tesco... Every little helps.
when it should be...
Tesco... Every LIDL helps.
The term 'early doors' really irritates me. And Wayne Rooney.
GGThere are 10 types of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those that don't.0
