Bringing DD's Bubble Eye fish home from Uni

Hi All
DD, in her infinite wisdom, decided to get a fish 'for company' at Uni
She adores him but didn't really think through transporting him home for the longer holidays.
He currently lives in a very nice tank but I don't think he can come home in this (we are picking DD up by car but it's a two hour journey) so what is the best way to transport him without causing him any distress. The tank will obviously come home but she knows she cannot just tip out all the water and re-fill it as it will be too much of a shock. Any suggestions please ?
