help me sell my sisters wedding dresses !!!

Please, please please, can anybody help with this unfortunate situation: My Sister who has split up with her husband has two young children and a dining room full of wedding dresses, bridgesmaids dresses, etc.

She has tried to sell these French designed dresses on e-bay and the local papers, selling them as a business for twelve months now. As you can imagine her financial situation is worsening by the week and she is desperate to raise capital to keep afloat. We are looking for any ideas that maybe someone may have to move these on asap - please note there is no financial gain for me - this is my Sister who needs the help today.

Look forward to hearing from you all, cheers,

You might be best asking in another part of teh forum, like Ebay for tips on selling, I assume she hasnt done well in selling them as you say her financial situation is worsenig. Also possible ask in benefits forum for any help on support the family if you have little coming in.

  • A dress agency may help although wedding dresses don't go well. You can get dress agencies online but its probably not the best time of year.
  • thank you keep them coming ..local papers ...e.bay ect
thought about auction ? but which one and where ? cheers
