Monday 4th April - What small DFW things will you be doing today?!

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free :money:
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
Goooood morning everyone...how the devil are you?!?;)
Hope a good weekend was had by all - Happy Mother's Day to those with offspring:p I managed an NSD yesterday and didn't spend much Saturday, just cash for girls when they went out.
So....another week....and a very lovely week too - it's the last one of term:rotfl: This time next week I shall be on my 2 weeks off, woop woop:T
Ok, time for my list:
Have a fab day you lovely ladies...and Karb:T:T

What excitement for a Monday morning!!I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Maybe just edit the post on one of them, click advanced then change the subject line to "nothing here, move along"?
Anyway, Im trying to get out early this morning so I'll post here then move it if I must!
Thank you to all you lovely DFWs for your words of support yesterday. I really appreciate it - I'm trying to be very cheerful and non chalant about the whole thing but its really nice to hear from people that its not unreasonable for me to feel a bit down. Like I've said before, I love you guys!:A
And Pernie - a boda boda is a sort of dirt bike thing that double as cheap taxis in Kampala. They tend to be a few pieces short of anything road worthy, and driven by someone who more than likely has never had to pass any sort of driving test! I'll be buying myself a helmet but otherwise relying on my youthful immortality to see me through safely :-P
Today I will:- Walk to work
- respond to email from possible new flatmate in Kampala - $300 a month, including utiliities and paying the maid! Bit cheaper than london, then
- lunch with collegue, will try to keep it cheap
- check banking and update budget after damage from weekend
- haircut after work - its really all going this time!
- see a friend at a free open mike night - will just cost me the price of a drink
- charge phone at work
- free cuppas at work
- leftovers for dinner
Have a glorious monday everyone! Its not so warm but skies are blue here, which is good enough for me.Mortgage free by 30:eek:: £28,000/£100,000Debt free as of 1 October, 2010

Really want to dial in to make sure people aren't inventing things I say - get minutes through saying "Pam's going to solve the problem or deal with this that or the other" when I didn't mention any such thing:mad: Anyway, the pension tension can wait until tomorrow!
