I have a pretty good idea of the dress code for Passing out but no idea what to wear for parents day ?
Dont want to show him up
The letter says sensible shoes and a raincoat but I am sure I will be arrested if I turn up in only that

something comfortable and casual. just maybe not a shell suit. if it's catterick youre going to then it has its own weather system, gauranteed to rain when least wanted. i think you'll be moving around camp watching the boys show off all the new skills they've learnt plus maybe participating in some.0

Is this for the RAF? My boyfriend is passing out on 3/5 at Halton. I'm wearing a smart dress, high heels, etc. Spent a fortune on things to wear! My mum and his mother in law are both wearing summer day dresses, with cardigans over the top.
Basically I think it's dress how you would to the races! Smart x

I dont really think it will matter in what you wear, your not being inspected. Your son/daughter will just be happy that you have turned up.
I thought that my family had not made it down to the parade, they had borrowed a larger car from a family member. At the very last minute i noticed my little brother running around the parade square. Which later that day he had pleasure in telling me that he "bought me", a picture of me.0
