Hi,
I am having trouble with the above program on Windows XP Pro.
It seems to install ok but when I come to use it instead of the normal icon being on the start menu I get a winzip style icon. When I click on this the windows zip window appears and it extracts even though I already installed it!
Please help as unsure what is going on, many thanks!!

It sounds as if it's installed the setup icon onto the start menu. Try doing a search for Tweak and see if you can find a different file.0

It sounds like you are running it from the recently used programs menu under the Start bar (rather than choosing All programs -> Powertoys for XP -> Tweak UI)
In which case you are just re-running the installer program (which was the last program you used).0 -
Thanks for the answers unfortunately still have the same problem, tried downloading different versions but no joy!!You can't con an honest man!0

If I remember correctly the tweak ui program is an archive - it unarchives itself when you run it - usually to the temp directory. Do a search on your computer for the file tweakui.inf - this is the unarchived file and it's this that you need to double click to install.0
