Having bother selling my car ...

I've got it on AutoTrader (£43 per month - had it on twice), eBay, listed it countless times and all my local supermarkets....
I've also taken it round ALL the garages in my local area but all have told me that they would only be able to give me £1000-1500 less than what I'd get privately.
I need to sell it to go to my friends wedding abroad. All my friends have booked their flights except me....getting desperate.
Problem it, its a convertible so hard to sell with this weather...grrr
Anyone any tips? Cheap tips?

If you price it right it will sell. Maybe the offers from the garages aren't as bad as you think?0

Give us an idea of the car you are trying to sell and the price you are asking for it?
I sold my GF car a few weeks ago and it went within 24 hours. I could have sold it 5 times over probably, we were offered £1200 in a trade in and I got £1950 for it so not like we sold at rock bottom. I would still have liked a little more than that but wouldn't we all?0 -
If you have to sell then you may have to consider:
1. Reducing the price
2. Selling to a dealer
3. Webuyanycar.com or a.n.other of the sharks
4. Auction
Have you advertised in the local paper?

Stay away from We Buy Any Car, they offered me £500 for my Focus, going for around £1,500 on eBay at the moment.
Have you tried Piston Heads? Seems to be a good place to go. I sold mine via Facebook, worth a try? What is pi? Where did it come from?0 -
