Never had a credit card

Would like to get one to pay for car insurance. What ones are the best for 12 months interest free?

    Have you had other credit accounts before? store cards? mortgage? phone contract? catalogue?

    If you haven't had credit before you're unlikely to get a 0% card straightaway.
    Best thing to do is to get your Equifax and Experian credit reports (I recommend the £2 statutory versions).
    Then come back with more info once you know what credit accounts they show.

    0% deals are generally only offered to people who have a good credit history and have shown they can handle debt.
