Anyone got a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini??
Options
Or do you know much about them? Is it a good phone? What do you like/dislike about it?
Seems to be a good choice for a budget Android phone? I also like the Samsung Galaxy but it's more expensive.

Sometimes you have to go through

Not used one, but have you seen the size of it? It's tiny, I think you'd be much better off with something like the SE X8, Samsung Galaxy Apollo or Orange San Francisco.0

I quite like that it's small, I wish it were a little bigger but some of the Android phones are HUGE!Sometimes you have to go throughthe rain to get to therainbow0

The small size is the main advantage of 'Mini' (you can safely carry it in your jeans pocket unlike other androids) and the main disadvantage (small screen with low resolution).0

I have one and i'm 6ft 5 with fingers to match . Yeah the phone its tiny but change the keybord and home screen its as good if not better then any other i've used ( Vodafone 845 and a proper sony x10 . ) Granted in this comparison the camera is only 5mp but it has a flash . I find texting fiddly email to so tend to keep it down to a minimum , but i did on the x 10 it depends on what you use it for .
Build quality is vey good . One other thing if you where thinking of buying it from carphone warehouse they do 5% cashback on quidco .0 -
A bit small for my liking, but a friend has one and I have to say it's not bad at all.
If you do go for an SE handset, get on to the Android market and install a utility called MyPhoneExplorerClient.
Then go to http://www.fjsoft.at/en/downloads.php and download MyPhoneExplorer for your PC.
The above is only phone management software, but it urinates all over SE's PC Companion with ease, very simple to use, and free.Remember kids, it's the volts that jolt and the mills that kill.0 -
It's due an upgrade to Android 2.3 too soon0

I was going for one but did some Googling and changed my mind.
Look for some consumer reviews. Downsides seem to be
Battery life
Old version of Android (1.6)
The battery is non-replaceable as it is integral to the phone (Mini-pro has a removable battery though). So when the battery gives up the ghost, it's a new phone.
I did like the T9 keyboard and its size.
Finished up with an LG Optimus one which I can recommend.0 -

That would make may day ,but Are you sure I thought they where stoping at 2.10 -
I got one, found my perfect phone and gave the missus my massive i-phone.
SE upgraded to Android 2.1 months ago so the earlier poster was wrong.
Just need to download and alterative keyboard - I am using the English dictionary on the Scandinavian keyboard (QWERTY) which lets me bash away with fat thumb and still gives the correct word mostly. Google mail app work brilliantly but you would probably not want to use the standard SMS client – Handcent SMS is much better.
You really can do everything with one hand.
Great phone but only if you if want to tinker a little, and can cope with a one day battery life – same as an i-phone in my hands.0 -
