Haven't even started yet this morning - been catching up on some emails. I only changed the bedding on Saturday, but otherwise it's definitely the bedroom that's in need of a little attention.

I'll jump in late to your HHC Sammiell - though you're probably finished by now!

ETA: Ah, Sammiell, I've just seen you're off again. I'm joining you. :D

I'm having a cuppa break from the boys room, so far 2 bin bags of rubbish gathered up and i'm nowhere near finished. Plan is also to remove the single bed and throw out all the ripped books. Also pulled out a full basket of washing.

Our room is looking loads better and i haven't much more to do in there and it can be done later. Then i can hoover right through...
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Hello Flyfriends.

I'm in again this week – many thanks FCC for the lists, and everyone here for friendship and encouragement.:o

Toots very best of luck with your move – good idea posting the Welcome to Post #2 of the list; in true Flylady tradition, anything that makes life easier has to be a good thing!
I'm very glad it's a relatively easy room today; I totally overdid it yesterday (as I often do on Sundays for some reason) *rolleyes*, and feel like I've gone 10 rounds with Mike Tyson today!

I always dread kitchen and bathroom days – not because they're particularly messy (we try to keep things clean and tidy as we go) but because they are physically difficult rooms for me to do.:o

Valli (((HUG))) If the LSB does pester and you really really don't want to hear from him, you can always block his email addy.;)

Piggers sorry to hear about the wee baby with the heart defect.:(

If anyone read my post yesterday, you'll know I did a whole load of baking - what I didn't mention is that the drive belt has started coming adrift on my food processor - yet again yesterday, I had to take it to pieces to fix the belt back in place, in the middle of baking.

Mr LW reckons it's time to get a new one - I don't know how old this one is, he had it when I moved in here (2002), and it was 2nd-hand when he got it. Also, it's had a new drive-belt already and now that's the one that's coming adrift, so I'm thinking maybe something further into the machine is maybe wearing out.

I'm thinking if we do get a new one, to go with Kenwood again (that's what this one is), but we're constrained by size, as it'll have to live in the cupboard, like the current one does.

Anyways, I think I'll post today's list and delete what's done or N/A from my Word.doc and see what I have left to do.;)

Magnificent Monday - master bedroom and landing

    Check those smoke alarms!
    Extras

    1. Binbag dance

    3. 15 minutes filing N/A – all up to date:D
    4. fill a binbag of old winter stuff for charity shop!! WIP – we always have a charity box on the go; things get put in as and when they become surplus to requirements. My “old winter stuff” will be worn again next winter, however!;)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Thanks for the company Sammiell!

Well I pegged out washing (although its gone very grey)
    Dusted in bedroom
    Tidied away clothes in bedroom
    Poopa scoopa'd garden
Sorted freezer and switched back on to rapid freeze (tesco order coming later)
Duvet and bed having a good air - window open and blowing through

Pleased with progress although if I had been at work this morning I would never have fitted it all in. Will make bed later, and drop bag of stuff for charity shop at the recycling point by the firestation.

Right earned a bit of a rest and cooch on the couch with poorly monkey.

Well in lieu of the floordrobe I have tackled DH's bedside table and surround, he just piles junk on it. That's now tidy, just needs dusting because it obviously hasn't seen the light of day for yonks.
I've also done two loads of washing plus the errands that i had to do.

I'll just have lunch and then tackle the rest of the bedroom. I can't do the landing properly until DH has finished working on the bathroom - he's spread various tools and supplies all over the landing and two bedrooms so far - he is such a messy worker.
  • Afternoon All

Hugs/Spoons to all who need or want them, again I have read the list but have been able to retain anything, sorry:o

No flying done as of yet as I have been to see occy health, who have informed me that I will not be returning to worknext week as I had planned. I wonder how amny people she has had burst in top tears in front of her begging to be allowed to return:o. So Im off until the end of April now.

"Let your boat of life be light, pack only what you need- A homely home and simple pleasures, one or two friends worth the name, someone to love and someone who loves you, a cat, a dog, a pipe or two enough to eat, enough to wear and a little more than enough to drink, as thirst is a dangerous thing" Jerome k. • Fell off the flylady wagon last week - I'd have had to do Bedroom today if it hadn't been today's bit. How can a room go from tolerable to aftermath-of-jumble-sale in just days?

Back to tolerable now though. Result!

Laundry now closed for today. Top of chest of drawers is done, Floordrobe done, bed is full of crap :( so will need at least one more HHC. Freezer man still hasn't been so I can't go to Mum's yet with welcome home banner.
