I'm in. Thanks to FCC.
I hope your move goes well Toots.
Well i can't clean my bedroom as Ds2 is asleep in my bed. I got a phone call from the school just before 2pm saying he had a headache so went to pick him up. I was just getting him undressed when he threw up all over my bedroom floor and his shoes. I can't believe he's ill again, it's only a little over a week since the last time. I feel so sorry for him.
The plumbers in the bathroom doing the tiling so i can't do anything in there either. There's plenty else i could be getting on with though.

Hi All
trying to be flying this week but nothing is really sticking in my brain.
My Dad has been diagnosed with breast cancer, he goes for his pre op meeting and the rest of his scans this week, then next week they will operate. He is 86 and has had 2 strokes, the first one a clot affected his right side, the second a bleed affected his left side. So he isn't in a good way:(Sue
Do I need to eat it
Can I afford the calories:eek:
have I checked for a lower calorie version:T0 -
Good luck with the move Toots. I remember how stressful that can be and really hope you are not away from us too long.
Pigpen, I hope you are feeling well and this week is generally going better for you than recent ones have.
Shelley6 I am sorry to hear that and I hope the operation goes well.
HollyH - hope your ds feels better soon. seem to be a lot of bugs going round atm.
Good luck this week to the rest of the FLYers. xx
I never did get round to changing the sheets before the weekend so I am so pleased we are starting there because all my other rooms aren't quite ready for a deep clean just yet. lol
I had a lot of washing arising from clearig out my airing cupboard and sorting through the clothes for my mum to take to the orphanage she volunteers at in Goa. I have manage to get some respectable amounts to send with her and also landed myself a LOAD of washing but the good news is that my eldest helped me to sort through and get on top of a lot of it yesterday (part of my mothers day pressie. lol) and so I feel like i am starting a normal week and given how unorganised i felt toward the end of last week, its quite refreshing to be here.
anyway, here goes..

Having a well earned break with a cuppa and cake (cherry and white chocolate loaf) after 2 hours of non stop flying.
All of upstairs hoovered
All upstairs windows cleaned
bathroom floor mopped
shower screen sprayed
All pictures dusted
DS1 room all dusted and tidied ( I hid his laptop earlier whilst I went to Mr M so when he got back he grinned and said I guess you wanted my room tidied;):T he then put all the shopping away too)
hoover bag changed.
Going to do another HHC and then go and get DS3 from badminton club.
Holly hope your DS gets better soon
Shelley best wishes for your Dad and hugs for youThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
I am in this week again, just not posting as I will be mega flying this week as 4 sleeps until Vegas so I have cases to get packed as well. :T:j:T:j:T:j
Oh wow, lucky you! Have a great time won't you if I don't 'speak' to you beforehand.Well i can't clean my bedroom as Ds2 is asleep in my bed. Poor DS; there's a lot of nasties going around at the moment but to get unwell twice in a short time is not fair is it. Hopefully now he's been sick and had a sleep he'll feel a bit brighter later.
Shellysue, I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad; my thoughts are with you.
Got both kids home now; going to do pasta for tea and then try to get my typing jobs done if I can tonight to keep tomorrow relatively free - I MUST take Pip on a long walk, we both need it. Thankfully the ironing is done and it took 2 x HHI but that's it for now.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Parents' home blitzed in time for Mum's return. I couldn't wait for her as had to do school run but she is home safe in just short of 11 weeks. Thanks for all your support during this time
Shellysue: Sorry about your Dad's news, hope the op goes well.
Just got a couple of things left on my bed then have finished level 3 today. Off to get a cuppa then start cooking.0
