Thank you but it is not going to happen. :o She is in renal failure and we are lucky she is still here with how advanced it is. This is why I am not getting much done as all I am wanting to do is give her a love or get her to eat something. Cooking more for her now than the rest of us put together!

    Good evening

Just a quick post as I am on my way to bed.

Been a busy couple of days at work as expected but I have just worked out that I am ony at work for another 3 days this month :D so I am a happy bunny.

Toots is fine in a happy kanckered sort of way! Fear not there are peeps keeping an eye on her and the bulk work tomorrow will be undertaken by others. She already has planned an afternoon/evening sat in her new garden with a LARGE smile on her face at the realisation that in less than 7 days she will have packed and moved house :D

I shall keep you all updated as to progress.

  • Morning everyone - looks like another lovely day here.

Toots - I hope your move goes smoothly and we will raise a glass later to your new home.

My junior assistant and I have just made a big to do list, and as DH rather unwell we'll be doing it all I think. DS gets the whole flying business so he'll help.

So best get on - need washing out on the line first, then showers & brekkie before we slam that list!

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

not really got masses to do and the bulk of the rooms are actually looking quite nice. Its just some of the smaller jobs that need doing. i have already painted one of my bedroom walls. the walls are all awkward shapes and have loads of extra beams (bad design) so it will take me a while but i have done really well so far. :)

    Morning

Didnt get on yesterday as had left DH with the task of steam cleaning the carpet in spare room. When I came in, he had everything out of the cupboard under the stairs and everything form the bedroom on the landing. Unfortunately he couldnt get the cleaner to work so abandoned it all. I have therefore sorted the stuff under the stairs and have to hand scrub carpet today!

Was woken by a text from a friend at 10 to 6 saying he is having a great time in Kuala Lumpa but I think he muddled up the time difference. 6am is not daytime here so I went back to sleep for another hour an woke up after 2.

Have managed to strip our bed and get linen in WM ready for it to be the first load on the line this year :o and sunk a mug of tea. Need to round kids laundry up (DS is home for the hols :D) shower dress and crack on as the whole house needs to be done done today so I can shop tomorrow before going to work and then picking up our french student who will be here for 10 days.

Guess I should start now then as lots of rearranging to do.

Love and hugglebunnys to all x

    Morning all

It's going to be a lovely day here and I'm off for 2 weeks. :D

Today's list (not quite in order):
    [STRIKE]DS1 to cricket - WIP[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]bath[/STRIKE]
    laundry - first load on
DW - first load on (x2 after tea)
[STRIKE]continental market in town with DS2[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]make a plan for the holidays - work, flying and fun[/STRIKE] first draft
two tasks for work (missed deadline yesterday) :o
    check work e-mails
    [STRIKE]lunch[/STRIKE]
    tea
flying (start outside the front door, then carry on in the LR)

I want to clean and tidy rooms properly and at the same time start writing a list of all the maintenance type jobs. This weekend I need to talk to DH and DS1 about getting more support, as I'm not quite where I need to be in terms of school work. Can't afford to be noticed in a negative way.

Time to get DS1 out of bed and sort breakfast.
