Just because it's a breed "trait" doesn't mean it applies to every single dog in existence, ever.

I would say the dog is well looked after, that's my opinion basing on what I've seen, it's owner loves it and would do anything for it, good enough in my eyes.

It doesn't mouth because it's not tired out enough, it does it when it's playing and gets over excited, or in the case of doing it near DD's face because it was tired and wanted to sleep.

Thanks for that list Victory, I do know he has implimented not letting it on the sofa, and the dog does go to it's bed when HE is eating, but she ignores it when other people are around eating and on the scrounge. When I'm over on Friday, I'll gently suggest a few of these things, as I don't want to offend him and I'd not say his dog is neglected or anything of the sort.

Im not even 100% sure its full husky he says it is, and it has husky ears and tail but its mostly white and not built like most huskys I've seen.

You don't need to know the individual dog to know the needs of the breed as a whole.

ETA: When we were researching Malamutes we looked at doing this - http://www.newforesthuskies.co.uk/huskamutespullingbikes.htm so it's perfectly possible to give such breeds the exercise they need.

Steady on, we live in a city not the countryside, he lives in town center so I can't see THAT going down very well without at least a broken arm in the mix.

He's intending on rollerblading with the dog down the esplanade, I said I'd be there with the video camera :rotfl:

I think we will have to agree to disagree - you said

I say that you cant possibly know that as you do not know the dog. [IMO] I dont see how it is not being excercised enough with 3 x 45minute walks
Well the dog comes back exhausted, probably from all the pulling it does :rotfl:but it comes back has a drink and flops on its bed, so he must be doing something right, also, it gets a walk at lunch not included in those 3 walks, so it's 4 during the week and whatever they do at weekend (free running on the beach etc)
