Why do people have to be so evil??

My house was broken into last week. The police thought they had really went for it in my room... but it was just a mess anyway! Punishments should be harsher in my opinion, but I'm guessing they'd take the risk as the punishment isn't that harsh and the likelyhood of them being caught is slim.0

I would seriously think about getting a new dog - the one you have is no good as a guard dog...."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

Fortunately I've never been burgled, touch wood, but if they tried it while I was in the house, either they or I would be dead at the end of it.0

have to admit, being burgled is one of my biggest fears. Thankfully I have three dogs (nowt much would get in!) but then I worry about what they would do to the dogs0

I could care less about the things in our house i.e. tv, games consoles etc, but if someone took my doggy i'd be devestated

Having been on the receiving end of these scum a few years back, I sympathise entirely.
What on earth are you lot going on about, "bring back the stocks" ??? If you hang 'em, it's a safe bet they won't do it again.
The nicest ( true ) story I know happened to a mate of mine. He came downstairs one morning to find his - rather large - Alsatian sitting by the lounge door. He thought this was a bit unusual, so went into the lounge to find a burglar cowering in the corner. It turns out the burglar had broken in, but found his escape blocked by this enormous dog. If he sat still, the dog sat still, but every time he moved the dog would growl and show its teeth. So the scumbag had spend the night crouched in the corner, unable to move a muscle. My mate, of course, left him there and calmly went off to phone the police.
And the best bit is, apparently the burglar was relieved to be led away into the police car, away from the terrifying dog !0
