Best credit card for buying petrol/diesel?

I do a lot of miles each year and obviously buy a lot of diesel. I am nearby all major supermarkets and usually use ASDA or Sainsbury's, though I can use the others. I was wondering if anyone knows which store would be the best to get a credit card with that I only use for fuel. I would be spending about £400 a month on it and hopefully get some freebies!

Thanks on advance

If you have a Tesco's you can use for fuel, I believe a Tesco credit card gives you enhanced Clubcard points which you can then effectively use as cash towards your shopping.

Have a read of this link.

    Focus on:

    Best petrol price.

    Best petrol reward scheme.

Best credit card reward scheme. Don't assume it has to be the supermarket that you get the credit card from (MBNA/AMEX may be worth a look and might Halifax Clarity Rewards if you bank with Halifax).

Is that an old card in the sense of no longer available?
