Men like him give the rest of us a dreadful name, thats for sure. I've had to go down the bankrupcy route too....I'll leave the reasons out of it but more importantly it looks like that no one (professionally) has offered you a bone to hang on to!! Your divorce lawyer and bank are utter rubbish in that they appear to not have helped in suggesting things you are entitled to or to do. I think there is an aggresive approach to dealing with your ex, for instance a PI to have him traced and perhaps charged with fraud.......
Just a different point of view which I hope is worth considering:)

OMG VN, I thought I had the king of the B%^$%#ds as an almost Ex I think your has just pipped mine to the post:eek: Noting the above post I went BR following my nearly ex {of 25 years} but to date it has not relieved me of the debt of the house {which was the object of the excercise} mine too is renting out family home {with a contract in his name and tenants only} and pocketing a huge amount of cash - he is just using it as a cash cow for as long as he can, solicitors have been of no help to date, neither have the BS or secured loan co who are quite happy for the mortgage and huge sec loan to be paid as they are getting something.............. and refuse to deal with me without my stbx's permission???? and how he is getting away with it I really don't know ? So with this in mind Please, Please explore all your options........there are some extremely helpful people on this forum who have tons of knowledge.

On another note many congratulations, your very much wanted baby will spur you on to fight as you will have your little one to fight for as well as yourself, you will probably amaze yourself when the lioness comes out in you. I think someone may have already posted but try freegle/freecycle for baby stuff.
