How many years no claims do I have for renewal purposes?

I am currently insured with Tesco and have protected no claims (currently 9 years). Last year I had a non-fault claim which I undertsand doesn't get deducted from my two 'allowable' claims as it wasn't my fault and Tesco recovered all costs from the other insurer.
I also had to use the windscreen cover when a chip that had been there for years turned into a large crack - this was a £75 excess and I had to ring auto-glass directly and just gave my Tesco policy details. The auto-glass man said it would not count as a claim.
Now I know that if I stay with Tesco I can safely say I now have 10 years no claims bonus (due to the no claims being protected) but can I get quotes from other insurers saying I have 10 years no claims when clearly I've had two claims in the last year?!
Especially as they ask for details of previous claims so in one section I'll be putting 10 years no claims but will then go on to detail a non-fault claim and a glass claim!

Hi, your renewal should show 10 years (protected) and as long as you tell them about the accident then you are being truthfull and there will be no problem. Problems only occur when people start to 'bend' the truth.0
