radiator shelves

Hi, My bf has just put a dart board with cabinet etc on the wall above the radiator ( It's the only place we can have it) it's on an inside wall, so do you think we need to put a shelf above the radiator and if so does anyone know the best shop/website etc to get one from? thanks

I don't think you need one.

What is you concern? Heat from radiator affecting dart board? bf firing darts through the radiator?

If you want one, then B&Q might be an option

To stop the darts and chalk falling down behind the radiator I'd imagine.

You use to be able to get ones that clipped behind the rad, have not seen them for years .

Do you just want a shelf, or like a radiator cover / radiator cabinet with a built in shelf?

The radiator will be an inch or so out from the wall anyway. So something as small as dart or a bit of chalk will fall to the ground and be unlikely to stick behind the rad. If you Google "Radiator shelf" you will get Amazon who do clip on shelves. I expect there are plenty of other suppliers as well.
