Gas problems

Why does fixing a leaking pipe that used to service a gas fire require a new boiler?0
-
Because it is more profitable for the gas-fitter?
Or less cynically it sounds like the boiler didn't work as an unrelated fault.0 -

The boiler is FUBAR - an on going problem - hence getting it done at the same time.
I foresee tears too, however I am mearly a lodger digging to see where we all stand. The main tenant deals with the LL so I have advised him to get it in writing. My name is going on nothing so I am not the customer, with a bit of luck the LL details will go as the customer. but that's down to the guy organising the work.
It is only a matter of time before the whole situation the house is in goes very wrong, I know this, I have told the main tenant this and I am in contact with the local council for advice on the matter.
Needless to say, as soon as the opportunity arises, we are out of here...
(Oh, totally off topic, how can I quote multiple posts in my post?! Am I just being a bit of a mong?)0 -
