Moving washing machine - inlet hose question

I want to shift my utility room about a bit, moving washer at right angles to where it is now. There won't be a lot of difference to the waste pipe, due to it being situated where it is but I'm concerned about the inlet pipe. Is there a maximum length of hose that can practically be used for the inlet or is it recommended to get it plumbed in properly?

I've tried attaching a rough plan, I'll edit if it hasn't worked.

You just need to go to a plumnbers merchants and get a longer inlet hose (or fill hose as they are known). They come in 2 or 3 different lengths soone will fit!

There really is no limit to the length of inlet pipe you can fit. However, a flexible pipe running round three walls would look awful. It is not a big job to extend the pipework and fit another tap wherever you want to site the washer.

I would be more concerned about the length of that outlet. A long flexible drain pipe may give you problems. I would extend the drainage pipework to facilitate drain adjacent to your desired washer location.
